I couldn’t be happier - I am a 53 year old woman who has spent my career in an office at a desk, And now because of the lockdown have finally found my balance. Gardening, baking, enjoying my tea in my favorite mug, etcetera. I get my work done, and then have time for the things I love. And you have found this at such an early age! I have met so many people who are not like-minded and very shallow, yet I've also met like-minded individuals to myself, full of depth. I am now 29 and I've met so many wonderful people along the way. I've often engaged in conversations with random strangers and my friends wonder how. I am so grateful for my journey and all the beautiful experiences I've encountered along the way. I've met people who have reminded me of who I am, discussions regarding my motherland, health, spirituality and later on I remember our conversations because I've implemented the changes and now I realise why we had to cross paths. I recently found your channel and have felt such a relief of stress watching your videos. I know people all the time tell you what an inspiration you are and it's true. Lately everywhere I look online is drama (I live in the US and people have lost their minds) So watching your beautiful videos have helped me so much calm my spirit and breathe. I also understand what you were saying about the mean comments some make. We as humans will remember that 1% of the mean or ugly remarks left by unhappy people, over the 100's of kind comments. I'm probably not at all an average subscriber of yours (a young man in my early 20s) but I just wanna say that your videos have given me a much-needed dosage of optimism and positivity. I'm about to move to a new country (Ireland, specifically) and with social distancing and everything it has been hard to find optimism, but everytime I watch one of your videos I feel a renewed sense of control and calm. It's not quite Italy where I'm going but I guess what I've taken away from your video is that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder, and that if you take that approach to life (and sensuality, I loved your answer on that!) there isn't much I have to be worried about!

I thought your advice for that young college student was wonderfully insightful. Your comments about office politics, ego and pointless meetings help to illustrate the vague mindless one-dimensional construct that so many aspire to. This truly suppresses that innovation engine, now just a cog in the wheel. At 67 I can honestly say I have worked for myself most of my life, not the easiest path, none the less it is the one I chose. You might add this advice to that same student, do not spend so much of your time in books or institutions, traveling the world is our best classroom, fresh air, the food for inspiration and creativity. Never cease chasing your dreams, at any age, learning is that perpetual state of motion always moving forward. Another true constant in life is the grace and beauty of true love, tenderness, and compassion for those we meet on this amazing journey. To me, anyway. I remember starting shooting, at 12, with my first camera which my dad gave me - a POLAROID. It had only 8 shots on a roll, and a roll of film cost me all the money I earned over four Friday nights of work after school. I learned how to compose when I only had two shots per week. I wonder - having seen some of your beautiful camera movements - whether you might love filming , in a lingering manner, some ‘north light’ still life , fruit , food, perhaps whilst cooking...possibly in a chiaroscuro, maybe Vermeer style...if you like the thought. I live in Australia and was meant to travel to Italy to see family and for a holiday in July. It's winter here and lately, I've been yearning for the holiday I didn't get to have. For the sun, for the beach, for hot summer evenings. I've also just started university and just feel so overwhelmed at how banal and mundane life seems at the moment. I thought I would meet so many new people, fall in love. I thought I would have all these great experiences. But nothing. I've met people who have reminded me of who I am, discussions regarding my motherland, health, spirituality and later on I remember our conversations because I've implemented the changes and now I realise why we had to cross paths. I am at a point now where I am longing to reconnect with my roots, move back to East Africa and live the life that I want for myself. Everything is leading me to that and I'm so so happy.

Lately everywhere I look online is drama (I live in the US and people have lost their minds) So watching your beautiful videos have helped me so much calm my spirit and breathe. I'm probably not at all an average subscriber of yours (a young man in my early 20s) but I just wanna say that your videos have given me a much-needed dosage of optimism and positivity. I'm about to move to a new country (Ireland, specifically) and with social distancing and everything it has been hard to find optimism, but everytime I watch one of your videos I feel a renewed sense of control and calm.
It's not quite Italy where I'm going but I guess what I've taken away from your video is that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder, and that if you take that approach to life (and sensuality, I loved your answer on that!) there isn't much I have to be worried about!

I thought your advice for that young college student was wonderfully insightful. Your comments about office politics, ego and pointless meetings help to illustrate the vague mindless one-dimensional construct that so many aspire to. This truly suppresses that innovation engine, now just a cog in the wheel. At 67 I can honestly say I have worked for myself most of my life, not the easiest path, none the less it is the one I chose. You might add this advice to that same student, do not spend so much of your time in books or institutions, traveling the world is our best classroom, fresh air, the food for inspiration and creativity. Never cease chasing your dreams, at any age, learning is that perpetual state of motion always moving forward. I love your art , your eloquence, your eye that sees beauty in the small, the close, the sensual, your slow camera movements , your slow motion drone shots above beautiful Italian landscapes- I think they are unique. To me, anyway. I remember starting shooting, at 12, with my first camera which my dad gave me - a POLAROID. It had only 8 shots on a roll, and a roll of film cost me all the money I earned over four Friday nights of work after school. I learned how to compose when I only had two shots per week. I wonder - having seen some of your beautiful camera movements - whether you might love filming , in a lingering manner, some ‘north light’ still life , fruit , food, perhaps whilst cooking...possibly in a chiaroscuro, maybe Vermeer style...if you like the thought. I live in Australia and was meant to travel to Italy to see family and for a holiday in July. It's winter here and lately, I've been yearning for the holiday I didn't get to have. For the sun, for the beach, for hot summer evenings. I've also just started university and just feel so overwhelmed at how banal and mundane life seems at the moment. I thought I would meet so many new people, fall in love. I thought I would have all these great experiences. But nothing. I yearn to love and be loved romantically and feel so detached from people and from myself. Finding your channel recently has made me feel more alive and hopeful than I have in a long time.
