Man what a terrible feeling, hope you can get another chance to seal the deal during the rut🤞 this buck hasn't been on the cams since, I'm hoping he makes an appearance before chasing does all over.
Happened to me last year shooting sevr hit the scap and broke off right at the insert. Switched to qad exodus this year just in case it ever happens again I have a head that might break bone. Way stronger and sharper. Mechs can’t handle scaps. Better off holding away from shoulder and getting guts waiting it out and getting the deer, like you said all woulda coulda shouldas just learn from it happens to all of us that have hunted long enough. Hang in there might heal up quick and get him late season
Happens to all of us. Missed a giant 12 about 2 years ago and it stung for a bit but it’s also what keeps us doing it and going out so hang in there! You definitely got a new subscriber tho keep it up content is great!
