- I put this display of 49 tree toppers up at the Cincinnati Golden Glow of Christmas Past Convention in 2018. Many of these are three-way and four-way flashing.
Stunning Collection. I collect as well and strive to own such beautiful pieces. 😍
Wow what memories it was so enchanting back in the 70s i can remember laying under mamas tree staring u at the glittering twinkling colors and falling asleep now its all dull and unexciting
I remember some of them, I wish they would bring them back again.
These tree toppers take me back to my childhood Christmases even though my family never had one in our home ( my mom thought they were tacky ). I remember seeing them atop Christmas trees in stores and diners so they still played a part in creating my fond memories of the holiday.
tacky is what Christmas is all about! silly, gaudy, fun stuff
Spectacular! I love old tree toppers!
WOW. Thanks for posting this. It's inspirational
Wow gorgeous!
I Love all kind of tree toppers, I used to have some of them, time runs away and then they brocked up, I made one simirliar with leds ligths, is not the same, but looks like.
Wooow better than today’s modern trash absolutely stunning and I’m 15 lol I love vintage Christmas stuff. Does anyone sell these cheap?
Thank you!
Waoooo that is amazing. When I was kid, my mom bought one of this ,( the round flashing Santa) but unfortunately it broke down after 5 days of using. Anyway those tree tops were very popular in my neighborhood and I loved it.
This video brought me such a good memories from my childhood . Thank you.
Those lights really burn out easily. I've replaced a lot of bulbs in my lifetime.
Your Display is Beautiful. You have an amazing collection. If it were me, I wouldn't be able to pick my favorite. Just Beautiful...Thanks For Sharing this beautiful collection...Have a Blessed Day...Dar
Thank you! I have a hard time picking my favorite as well. That's probably how I wound up with so many.

If you go to 11:16 you will see my favorite tree topper at the top of the tree I decorated.
@@Christmasmemories1 it is absolutely beautiful and I remember them so well.
I think they're all so beautiful. I especially love the one at 5:57!💜💛💚💙❤
Thank you!
@@Christmasmemories1 😊☺
Magnificent collection. You have some designs that I have not seen like the star style. But there is no chirping bird tree topper! J.S.P.
The chirping tree topper, LOL! I see them for sale from time to time, but I still never bought one. Can the chirping mechanism be turned on and off, just having the lights on? Coincidentally, I have five chirping balls, and I am one of the few people who enjoys hearing them.
You just don't see pretty stars on the market like this anymore. It's all just this plain "cookie-cutter" plastic LED crap!! Years ago, they were so much more glamorous and traditional looking.
Love this so much!
Holaaa me gustan estas coronas en donde. Las consigo
❤them
OMG! My grandmother use to have that EXACT same yellow and gold star at 6:08. She bought it in Toronto in 1966 at Honest Ed's for $4.99! She had that star all the way up till Christmas of 1998 and in all those years, she never had to replace 1 light bulb! I've been searching for so long to find that star and I have never been able to find that exact same one. Is it for sale?? If so, how much are you asking??
I have quite a few of these that I've collected over the years. Do you have a source for finding those rapid-flashing flasher bulbs?
The first advice I always give is to never mix old and new bulbs. The burn with different current ratings, and because of that you would burn out your whole set. I find my best source of replace bulbs (steady and quick flashing) is old fifty-light five-way flashing strands. They are 12 volt bulbs, and they come in all five colors. I've never bought packages of replacement bulbs for these, but I am sure you can find them on eBay from time to time.
@@Christmasmemories1 Thanks. Yes, I'm aware of not mixing old and new bulbs. I have been doing the same with some old sets that use 12 volt bulbs, but I hate to borrow bulbs from a working set. I was hoping there was a modern supplier of rapid flashing bulbs because the modern 12 volts don't blink as fast. A lot of times I retrofit bulbs.
Beautiful
Thank you!
Why aren't these made nowadays because these are absolutely awesome!
Thank you!
@@MrPyroguru These decorations are no longer made because the plastic reflectors would sometimes melt from the heat of the bulbs.
Loved it!👍
Thank you!
As a kid born in the 70s I did remember riding my bmx bike to Woolworth’s they had some good ones for under $5.00 and local candy store had some cool rare ones from japan. You have wonderful collection it’s great to see you preserve history. I just found your channel today and subscribed.
Love the quick flashing spinning lights
I've always liked how they flash. It used to remind me of lightening.
