My grandmother from Lithuania had one of these when I was a kid, 1970s. Wish I had it now. Very special, and that music is engrained in my mind forever.

There was nothing like Woolworths at Christmas time! Loved going in and looking at all the Christmas stuff, Was definitely a must do at Christmas every year! To me it was just as exciting as Christmas and Santa coming! Would of been Christmas without Woolworths Christmas decorations! How I miss Woolworths at Christmas time! Thank you for this!

Where I can get one of this vintage tree topper ?

I remember some of them, I wish they would bring them back again.

When I was growing up my neighbor across the street at the time would get a silver tip tree and put the twinkling C7 light on it and also used icicles, she even made sure the icicles were draped on each branch to exact length.

Wow what memories it was so enchanting back in the 70s i can remember laying under mamas tree staring u at the glittering twinkling colors and falling asleep now its all dull and unexciting

I would love to purchase one of these. We had one and it was A special family memory . Do you know where I can find one.

I’m on hunt for one of these! My Mom had one with a Santa sleigh that circled the house when you pulled the string. It played “Santa Clause is Coming to Town.” They were made in Japan, manufactured for the now closed chain Sprouse-Reitz stores, roughly in the ‘60s. If anyone knows of any for sale, I am very interested!

We had this tree in Ohio when I was growing up! Think my parents got it at Mentor or Millcreek Mall. It circled around and also had a switch on the base to play Jingle Bells!! Very fond memories! Miss my parents and definitely miss those days!!

Here in the UK, Woolworths used to be my favourite store, especially in the run-up to Christmas. I still miss it, especially in December, and even now, many years after its demise. I can get very emotional when I remember the store, which was a such a big part of my childhood.

The bubble lights, the reflectors, the shiny brite ornaments and the icicles on the tree are absolute perfection. I could almost smell the tree.

Absolutely wonderful collection and excellent display!! Thank you for sharing. Everything I have was made between the early 30s to 1979 and I put them out every Christmas. Much of it belonged to my grandparents...great memories

Wow beautiful. I grew up in the 70's and Woolworth was still around. I loved the stores in general around The holidays. I simply adore glass ornaments. It's the only ones I put up on the tree. It's nearly impossible to find glass ornaments these days. Just love looking at three ornaments. Brings me back to my childhood. Thank you for posting
