Problem Martinelli has had last season and start of this season wasn’t just injuries but his had no consistency on his side of the pitch. The guys played with about 4 different left backs and 2/3 different midfielders. The season he scored 15 goals he knew Xhaka was making the overlaps and Zinny was going into midfield. Hopefully with Timber and Merino he can have consistency again and find the form we know his got in him.
Still he needs to realize when to score and when to pass the ball. He should have passed the ball to Saka in a crucial moment like that. For me we should have go ht with a 1:0 up and let them come and kill them in the counter like we did last season.
