This circuit should work using magnets so you could use these at door and window openings around the home. Set up with very cheap cameras at all the possible entry points only turning on when circuit is broken. Am I right about this? Or am I missing something? Thank you for your time in uploading these in my opinion great video's. Your time is appreciated.

Will this work on bigger wires? Like something 100mm sq. or more?
How long can the cable be? I guess the resistance will increase correlated to the length of the cable, right?
