Thanks for that, you often come rocking fit with meaning behind it. Is there a design philosophy behind jus-cus, are they doing it jus' cus' it feels good to look good in comfy clothes?
LeeToTheVi and Shadiq formed the core of my education on UK Drill, drill slang, references, and so on. It was this channel that was most helpful for me to get the most translated to my terms the quickest. Honorable mention to Scuderia Skoot for having the same level of 'tism when it comes to wheeling it back as many times as it takes to wring every last drop of meaning and enjoyment out of the track. Taught me to burn these joints down to the clip. Legit legends all, and the combination of efficiency with enthusiasm and comparisons to other shit I ended up liking has had me coming back to the channel again and again as @KRXOVRmedia can attest. How many years we been carrying on continuing conversations now?
Goodfella and Stepped into the Building are S tier songs. Whirlybird is definitely the best song they've ever put out, and the flow switches on their last verses was insane.
It's good to see one of the original PnB reactors checking out the album, although yes maybe compared to some of their older stuff, it doesn't go as hard as you'd expect, but it's still pretty fire. Whirlybird does stand out, but Bish Bash Bosh and Goodfella also are S tier for me. I can see why they went hook heavy with this, they want to try and break into mainstream in the US I think, the collab with T-Pain helps, and now they doing ads for Snoop's Gin and Juice (yeah really look online). So I totally get the vibe they went with to catch more normies, but still had whirlybird in there to keep the bar fiends happy.
21:12 - I made the same face first time I heard this, too. One of the bars appreciating all senses in high fashion makes all the more appealing, from the agarwood oud scent/oud lute for sound to the feel of the AC and the taste of the Jacaranda. Mmm. Delicious across the board.
I've been waiting months for you to react to new pete and bas love your reactions they got me into p&b sat here waiting for full video reactions and breakdown
Every track is fire. They are legit. They have dropped a short boosting the gin and juice product by Dre and Snoop - now there is a collab we need. heads up and respect to TPain for responding to their open verse challenge and giving us the remix. Love and respect to him - he wouldn't have done that if he had not respected them. T pain clearly thought more of the track than you LOL
12:21 - London being the only city not in China to make it on the top 10 most surveilled cities makes the bar hard AF, what makes it more so is Pete's use of IRA slogans in past tracks and pointing out "one side of the family's Irish." ONE SIDE, this man survived the Troubles.
Been looking forward to this, your reactions and comments are on an entirely different level to 99% of the content out there. Always informative and well thought out. Having said that, I really disagree with your ranking of Stepped Into The Building, I think the piano suits the vibe of the lyrics. Otherwise, on point as always.
Fair criticisms over all, thanks! When you do the full album review if you can provide examples of songs that do something well that P&B could have done better, that would be amazing.
@@KRXOVRmedia Of course, man. It's been a challenging couple of years here healthwise and your videos have been a source of positive energy, I definitely try to repay kindnesses.
Definitely a garage beat on goodfella no reaçtor has mentioned that.😮. No one has talked about bas singing the hook lol. I can't believe your not loving bish bash bosh....it's a favourite of mine but whirlybird just pips it to the post
Surprised by your reaction to Norman Pain on Mugshot Freestyle! Go watch his Sindhu Sesh, or Sonnet (or Golf with Pete and Bas!). But yeah, Whirlybird is fucking nuts! Personally, I enjoy Bish Bash Bosh also, but otherwise I agree with your rating!
Bro, you really must watch/hear Norm Pain on Sindhu World before laughing him off as a joke. This piece is a return to the core of what rap once was... please take the time, you'll see. ps also great is P & B with Norman on 'Golf' pps you won't be sad if you catch up on 'Longhorn Shotgun' et al... ...
I will have to respectfully disagree with you on the beats. Thie key to listening to Pete and Bas is not to over-analyze them. They are obviously EXPERIMENTING with many different styles of music. I just prefer to sit back and just enjoy the ride.
How do you rank the songs on this album? 👀 Unrelated, but shirt is from jus-cus.com
Thanks for that, you often come rocking fit with meaning behind it. Is there a design philosophy behind jus-cus, are they doing it jus' cus' it feels good to look good in comfy clothes?
Whirlybird is top, I love both the mugshot freestyles too - northern boys are just 😂❤
@@thetalantonx Nothing super deep tbh. "Colorful. Unique. Simple."
Check out Northern boys- party time. Its the guys from the lsst track its a laugh. You're S tiers were spot on
This is gonna be great.
I've missed your reactions to P&B.
You Sir are a Legend ,
Nuff respect 👍👊
Thank you!

@@thetalantonx Thank you so much. I really appreciate this. These are the comments that keep me going. Also, it's been about 2 years.

You've been missed. Thanks for this!
Thanks for watching!
I've been waiting on this. They made one of the strongest releases in years
EVERY song is straight fire.
25:40 - PKJ here is one of the smoothest of The Snooker Team, and you see him in action in Window Frame Cyphers 1 & 2
Probably in my top 10 albums of the year. And seeing your reaction to it is a very good Christmas gift! Hope you have a good one!!
Merry Christmas!
Smooth, slick nothing out here like them loving them
18:35 Keys of the white in a Major scale. Nick him up Sharp like an ebony note.. Piano bars. Sick
Reminds me of that terrible song by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder ebony and ivory 😱
@deanosaur808 Oh Lord. LOL
6:24 ‘mansweep’ was definitely on purpose - and right after you get ‘Sikh six man deep’ - mandeep is a common Sikh name
Holy crap. I knew I was missing something in that bar, and this is it. This is what I was missing. Incredible.

Thanks for watching! I agree that they probably want to try tapping into a broader market. This was a solid attempt, content-wise.

Thanks for your support!
11:11 - 100% good catch here bro. Yeah this personal beef between Pete and Potter Payper inspired at least some of the edge during this project.
luv these lads watched them live this november
Your reaction to WHIRLYBIRD... PRICELESS !!!!!
Tooooo gooddddd

Miss your Pete and Bas reactions. Glad to have you back.
Very surprised you weren't blown away by the Nina Simone reference in Slap the Stick but great reaction

Bish Bash Bosh, aka Straight Outta Peckham 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Took me a minute to realize you hadn't reacted to these before.

you seem like a cool guy, greetings from Poland, all the best
Thank you!
The Whole album is fire. My favourite is "Whirlybird"🚁🔥🔥

just curious why longthorne didnt make it on the album...
it came out a year ago...
@@KRXOVRmedia ya but why not put it on an album :/ it just sitting there lonely
@KRXOVRmedia only two 6 weeks earlier than Stepped into the building.
It's on my Mugshot (Reimagined) playlist 😎
@bodhisfattva7462 they have lots of lonely tracks, but we can make them less lonely with a playlist 😂
Check my Mugshot (Reimagined) playlist 🥳
I'd rather have longthorne than goodfellas
WhirlyBird goes all the way in.
Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I knew Whirlybird would get ya!
Your reaction to whirlybird love it,

BBB itself is cool in general; I just don't care for the chorus much
8:46 - I think Pete's aggression can easily go to two factors: skin cancer scare, Potter Payper.
tbh he's been like that for a good minute even before all that
U gonna react to ps prodigy son?
Not sure. There's a lot of other things on my agenda
No reaching going on with Pete and Bas. Good sweep bar catch. Whirlybird & GoodFella are tops
Surprised by your reaction to Norman Pain on Mugshot Freestyle! Go watch his Sindhu Sesh, or Sonnet (or Golf with Pete and Bas!).

I'm familiar with him. It's just the voice lmao it sounds so unserious. Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it
Slap the stick has a video my guy
I know
Goodfellas is my favourite track...banger
Missed that "talk to the platinum hands on the time piece coz the face ain't listening"
Aw I loved stepped into the building. Disappointed to see it graded less than S
As long as you like it, that's all that matters

Glad you enjoyed it
Check out their producers/grandkids
Nine & Dex- Jesus piece, ignorant shit, pecan pie
Def will do

Make em pray / prey 😉
You know what all you lot who wanna say they don’t write their bars, so what who you know delivering like this at this age? 🫡
Whirlybird is a bit fast.
Yeah that's Grime for ya. It's usually 140+ BPM
TPain; “Not much going on lyrically.”
… check again.
No.
I will have to respectfully disagree with you on the beats. Thie key to listening to Pete and Bas is not to over-analyze them. They are obviously EXPERIMENTING with many different styles of music. I just prefer to sit back and just enjoy the ride.
glad you like it
