Hey Matthias, schön mal was von Dir zu sehen und zu hören. Je öfter ich die Experia sehe desto mehr besteht die Möglichkeit einer "Verliebung". Ich meckere ja schon immer über die Händlerschaft von Zero aber Energica ist noch deutlich weniger vertreten. Das ist tatsächlich (aktuell) der größte Grund gegen die Expedia. Die 300 km nach Celle sind schon ne Hausnummer wobei ich auch nur gutes über JCB gehört habe. Die Haptik war auch für mich deutlich hörbar. Bei meinen Fahrrädern gibts auch nochmal Klarlack über Rahmen und Dekor: auch auf matten Lacken. Bei Carbon hab ich immer die schlechte Reyclebarkeit im Hinterkopf. Liebe Grüße!

Nur eine Frage (wie üblich 🙂): Sollte man bei der Experia nicht den optionalen Hauptständer bestellen, weil sie ja keine Feststellbremse hat und darum wegrollt, wenn es nicht topfeben ist? Oder wurde das beim Serienmodell jetzt auch anders gelöst? Gute Fahrt und viele Grüße Stephan
Hallo Stephan - herzlichen Dank! Hauptständer ist alleine schon wegen Kettenpflege sinnvoll. Wegrollen… also ich fahre Energica nun seit etwa 20tkm. Hatte auch die „Bullet Brake“ (mal nach googeln;-)), aber selbst in den Alpen nie ernsthaft gebraucht. Daher wird die ExPee auch keine mehr bekommen. Mit ein wenig Weitsicht findet man immer Stellen, wo sie auf dem Seitenständer sicher steht. Grüße, Matthias
There‘s a rack available from Energica that has frame support - you need that to mount the top box. The bike comes with a die cast small rack but that‘s far too small to keep a standard Givi top box.
Tausche das Kuststoff gegen anderes Material aus, ist es entweder wesentlich teurer /Carbon, oder wesentlich schwerer /Blech - kannst gleich noch 20-30kg drauflegen. das ist dann Kategorie Harley
Okay, let's see... 1. Fit of the fairing improved, now more streamlined 2. Frame weld quality improved a lot, but not on par with Ribelle yet 3. Surface texture applied to side covers, inner cover around triple tree and inside the storage. Was polished before (that's standard toolmakers process - bring parts dimensionally in spec first, and last step is surface grain) 4. moulded nuts - was only indicated before 5. front fluid brake reservoir - was transparent on other models, now darkened. 6. stickers not covered under clear varnish 7. paint thickness improved/thicker, knocking makes a more solid noise 8. overall quite a lot of ABS plastic parts - at this price point I would have loved to see some carbon parts to support a quality feel 9. suspension, brakes and tires specs (no surprise, read Energica spec sheet) 10. full LED inclusive blinkers (US bulbs? not 100% sure...) 11. panniers support frame using thicker tubes than Ribelle/EsseEsse 12. orange high voltage cables are... well... "hard to like" :-) 13. a right hand side electronics connector was not improved - wires leading into socket. 14. interview with Andreas, the JCB owner. His team drove down to pick up my bike. Awesome job!!! Overall a supportive dealer

There is a support frame required, although just a tiny one. It includes the baseplate.

Thanks mate. Yes I don’t like the bright colour power cables, nor seeing the connection blocks. Also, what are molded nuts?
