I used to think that counting calories was bullshit, but thats the only think that worked. I used to exercise a lot but eat whatever I wanted and I did lose some weight but gained it right back. But now I started counting calories and exercising and I have lost 13kg. I was also shoked to find out how much I used to eat and how horrible my portions were.

    1. Calories matter, but you dont have to count it to the single digit
    2. More protein in diet
    3. Not just about exercise, but the right kind. (HIIT and Strength training worked for her)

@@rosie5348 yeah, but the poit is you don't have to count every single of it, u just need the rough estimation. And its okay too eat a little bit more if u really want to, just don't do that everyday

Sara Horvat naw not that much actually, as long as you have normal BMI it's ok, so for you to weight 60-58 it's no problem but try not to go under that! Myself I want to reach 63 then I'm satisfied! But like yourself I have come to a plateau. But that's good to o then your body doesn't work against you and try to become the normal weight, because the plateau-weight is the new normal!

Id thought you like to know that: some cancers are caused by Stress and medication like the Contraception Coil if left in longer. Coils have expiry dates. Someone I knew due to a breakup and life taking over, she forgot about her coil and end up having METAL POISONING so in an emergency had coil taken out. Also radiation n rays coming out from behind fridges n behind and infront of MICRO- Waves, yes get it WAVES. So NEVER stand direct in front of it while warming up foods. mobile phones, laptop devices should not be rested on the skin for a long time, no wonder so many people have joint pain. And so people who sleep directly behind a fridge plz note the above has been proven some guy put up a video but can't remember his channel that's why I am mentioning this info here. To help someone out there that will take this very seriously. Let's work together to save lives. I am not a doctor but i rececommend taking a stroll through Nature as trees have healing properties and in daytime give out energy high frequency which is excellent for health eliminates stress, worries helps with depression, grieving time. anxiety, panic attack levels please try. Mother Earth is the best healer. Go to the nearest tree - first check for insects n animals that camouflage FIRST. Peace out From England UK and if you have found ANYTHING helpful please LIKE n SUSCRIBE to my Channel.

Completely agree with you about being mindful of calories but not counting every single calorie! I do the same thing, I try and have a rough idea of how many Calories food has - also I'm way more full after making sure I eat a balanced meal (good carbs/fats/protein). I used to be scared of eating carbs but I'm fuller for longer if I incorporate those 3 food groups in a meal

This is a healthy way of eating and literally boosting a sluggish metabolism. It does work and you may spend a bit more for groceries than usual, but it's for a good reason: healthier eating. I just started with this program, but my sister started 34 days ago and has already lost 20 pounds. This is a huge success for her because she never follows any meal plan to the letter. Give it a try. *Give a try! Get your copy from here **t.co/ollWhetOtu** :)*

I started my journey about 8 months ago, and I've been counting calories for about 4 months now. And I actually kind of like it. Well, sure, it's much more enjoyable not to count anything at all, but at least I found out that I feel better counting everything rather than just roughly estimating my calorie intake.

One of the most important thing to remember to lose weight, is to slowly love yourself in the process.
Put your goals instead of loosing 10 pounds a month, try loving yourself doing all of this instead.

I agree with all ur tips. But it is easy to do HIIT for a slim person but when it comes to a fat person carrying 15 to 20 kg extra fat its very difficult for them n may cause injury. Should dt person still do HIIT ?

I completely agree! If you never have been super overweight you won't understand the struggle. It's like doing it with 30 pound
weights on you. I started my weight loss with just walking and trying to get 8,000 steps a day. Wear a pedometer. 8,000 steps if roughly 300 cals a day! (THAT'S 2100 CALORIES A WEEK!) So this is what worked for me and wasn't very hard or intense. Once you actually get lighter try to up intensity and try different workouts.

    1. Be mindful of calories- round up your calories, don’t count per calorie
    2. Get enough protein - eat carbs, eat healthy fats. You don’t want to lose muscle while losing fat. Eat enough proteins
    3. The right kind of exercising - HIIT and strength training are best for burning fat and boosting metabolism

Thanks for sharing. I urge anyone who are in their 20's and 30's to lose the weight now! When you hit your 40's and older it gets harder, seriously. Not to mention, your skin will easily "snap back" and less sagging when you lose at a young age. Also people need to take into consideration that apart from eating healthy (with portion control), and being active, some people have a faster metabolism (genetics play a role as well). That's why you see certain people eat what they want and never seem to gain the pounds. However, they too will need to watch out as they get older, that gifted metabolism could flip on them.

Your body chooses where it wants to lose weight first second etc not you, you can do as many arm exercises as you want but your body won’t lose the weight in your arms until your body wants to, same thing with abs for example, you can do as many crunches as you want but your body won’t target your abs, it targets everywhere

I've found that you should cut sugar to half, like if you usually eat 1 donut or any other sugary foods, eat half. With fruits and veggies, eat 1-2 servings a day and with protein, eat lots of it and drink lots of water or you'll be hungry for the more sugary foods. With exercising, probably just weightlifting and whatever sports you like to play. I'm in the process of turning my weight into muscle instead of fat and losing a couple of pounds. My workout routine is twice a week I do zumba at the gym (hip hop/salsa and weightlifting) and when at home, I'm starting to do pushups, situps, running in place, lifting weights, and using this exercise machine that I guess is like a climber. My diet is a healthy balance of some sugars/salt, fruits/veggies, and protein.

It took me 3 years to get from 98kg (216lbs) to 57kg (125lbs) - I'm 5'1. I didn't do it by going to the gym, but rather by addressing what was causing my excessive weight gain, which, for me, is this disease called PCOS. Even when I was 98kgs, I was eating relatively healthier than most and getting more exercise in than most so considering that, it just didn't make sense that I was gaining and gaining and gaining, plus all these other symptoms I had. I finally got a diagnosis and I was happy because that was a start. As I took my meds, the symptoms started disappearing one by one. My feeding habits and exercise routine haven't had any drastic changes, and I tried going to the gym when I got to 65kgs and kept it up for 6 months but had to stop because it was worsening my chronic fatigue instead of lessening it. Also, I never really lost any weight during that period even though I was working with a personal trainer and a nutritionist; I've found that for me, going to the gym helps me maintain weight but not lose it. I did cardio and strength training and HIIT but it all had to be tailored for me because of the PCOS, chronic fatigue and I also have severe asthma (bummer). Now I do light exercises instead. Food is kind of a loaded question because I developed IBS out of nowhere - IBS has been linked to PCOS so maybe it's because I have PCOS - so I have to keep adjusting my diet ever so often. All in all, there's no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to issues of health and fitness. What works for me may not work for you, and vice versa. In the beginning, I tried doing it like how I'd seen others do it and that didn't work and I was frustrated but then I realised that copying other people's routines and diets is where I was going wrong. I needed to find what worked for me.

I've lost loads of weight , I've lost nearly 2 and a 1/2 stone all on my own , I still eat my breakfast, lunch and dinner . I love my chicken , fish and white meats . I love my fruit and vegetables. The thing that I taught myself to do when I'm eating my meals is to eat slowly when eating my meals . It helped me so much . It not only helps to digest the food to take time for my body to digest the food , but It prevents me from choking or coughing my food . It also made me mindful of what I'm eating. I done everything on my own . I also drink loads of water . I hope this helps you . I also hope you read this comment:) .

I feel that protein thing. I just started working out seriously in March, and I started restricting my diet at the same time. I was constantly hungry and hypoglycemic. Even after I started eating normally (not restrictive, just mindful), I feel hungry a lot of the time, and try to eat rx or health warrior protein bars. Figuring things out can be a pain, but I find it’s also kind of a fun part of beginning a healthier lifestyle 😊

I hear everywhere that you need to eat protein to lose weight and gain muscle in replacement of that unhealthy fat. Sadly I can have only up to 26g of protein a day so it’s very hard for me to eat protein as it makes me sick. But even with this negative factor I’m still going to try my best to lose weight and be the best me this 2020. I’ve been working out for 10 days and the longer I try the more proud I am of myself. I encourage others to never give up because one day you will be so proud of sticking to your goals. ❤️. -there’s a HIIT workout that has helped many people called the (Chloe ting 2week shred) so I suggest to check those hiit workouts as well. But don’t expect to see results if you don’t eat in moderation, healthy, drink your water, and lay back on processed food and lots of sugar.

You can calculate your total calorie (energy) requirement by some equations which is actually easy to find. Then divide the amount of protein, fats and carbs you need per day. Want to lose weight? Just try to maintain that total requirement. Also this will change based on your personal needs and not same for everyone.

F i personally think you have to make some sacrifices if you want to be healthier/lose weight! I used to HATE and i mean really hate any sort of cardio (running or HIIT) and just stuck with toning/yoga/pilates. These exercises are good, but i think not the best for weight loss. I had to force myself to try HIIT little by little, and ended up always feeling great and loving it. There are lots of hiit workouts in youtube, you should try it out, it's gonna be fun!!!

Also, don't deprive yourself from your favourite food. You can have it in portions, just not too much. Why? Because if you do, then when you have it, your body will want to fill its boots because it will think of it as if its your last time getting to eat it for a while. In other words, its stocking up which will put u right back to phase 1.

I stick to Chloe Ting's workouts along with intermittent fasting, keeping my carb intake minimum and not really counting calories much unless I'm taking meat or veges. When I used to do hiit, cardio or strength training I felt bulkier and didn't see much result. But after adding intermittent fasting to my regime and not staying focused on a good diet, I still saw results. So I decided to speed it up and focus on a good diet, I still eat unhealthy a lot but try to keep it minimum and have started the workouts of Chloe and they are working! Gradual but I'm really satisfied. You gotta push yourself if you wanna see changes and I'm done having this body. I wish I could implement this in my life earlier though. Growing up moderately chubby was weird.

the thing about calories is that you don't have to be eating A LOT of food to be eating too much calories. it's possible that you're eating less food than you need but with higher calories , it's not about the amount of food you're eating,it's about the choices you make. I'm eating more for less calories now because I've learned to choose Wisley when it comes to food and feel and look good at the same time
