Parallel to grunge there was this great “roots rock” scene (to call it something) with Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors, Counting Crows, Blind Melon, Dave Matthews Band, Hootie and the blowfish, etc…I can’t believe the diversity in 90’s music. There was something for everyone.
NEVER thought I'd see this again! Was there in the middle mud pit! Got on Conan that morning with Andy Richter. One of the best days of my life. Thanks a million.
@@Falkowski82oh, no. Rough place to happen, but at least once out of being in the swirl of bodies, you got music to listen to, and watch from a safer distance. Assuming that was the issue, that is.
My first show was only about a month later in Mesa AZ. God they smoked on that tour. Was your show the one where Chan got hit in the face by a harmonica thrown from the audience?
I remember the feeling of being there. It was Friday and we had just arrived and set up our tents. We were excited about what the weekend had in store for us. I remember that in order to buy food you had to pay with special Woodstock currency. It worked for the first day but then the vendors started accepting cash.
Is his guitar not working? I hear drums, bass, vocals, but I don't hear the electric guitar? And he doesn't move his fingers around the strings or along the fret board 🤔
