China 'Bombs' American F-35, F-22 During Mock Drills, Satellite Images Reveal 'Scorched' Jets

- China’s military has been practising blowing up the US fighter jets, The Eurasian Times reported citing latest satellite images. Images show a destroyed F-35 Lightning II and F-22 Raptors jets at a remote desert in northwestern China.
The satellite images suggest that the Chinese military destroyed these dummy aircraft during a recent mock drill. The image shows scorched F-35s and F-22s stationed at one end of a long runway In what could be the aftermath of the Chinese drills, the report added.
China regularly conducts drills at the target range complex in Taklamakan desert which has several military testing sites. The image taken over the Taklamakan Desert reveals covered and uncovered aircraft positioned by a runway, The Eurasian Times report stated. Around 20 aircraft are located near a building, with an additional three planes near the runway.

@@S1lverarrow You didn't understand. Not "can fly" but "full mission capable rate - was less than 30%". It's quite different what it means.
You better read that "5th gen chinese fighters" use mostly either RD-93s (russian jet engines) or their copies Guizhou WS-13. Chinese companies still can't produce purely their own engines for fighters without Russia, so China is quite behind the USA in this regard, it's clear. F-22 or F-35 are very ahead of their time and the USA will be able to produce 6th gen fighters in the near future when no any country won't be able to do that, maybe only trials. The best AI capabilities are american ones (all the best and the most powerful ai gpus/chips, software are american).

Chinese 5th generation aircraft, why they need one? All I see is crashing F-35 and high up keeping cost, never heard how it justify its cost. For each F-35 the Chinese will unleash 10.000 drones, try to shoot them down. They will overwhelm your 10th generation aircraft if you can make any, there wont be any aircraft carrier, any airport left for lets it be 10th generation aircraft to land on. Drones are real game changer, not stupid 5th generation aircraft. If the point of F-35 is a stealth bomber, because it suck at any other role, then why thousands drones cant replace it?
@@S1lverarrow Nope, it's not that simple how you describe, that article is also about 10% increasing of operable fighters or higher and it means that they can fly. If the USA has that kind of problem and it openly says about it, you could imagine what kind of problems China has. Chinese military advisers and ministers don't think as you do and try to produce many fighters because drones can't do what fighters can and the USA prefers fighters, not big drones and there's a reason for it.
You don't know about drones, read and watch about small ones (with propellers) and big ones (like aircrafts) and what they can do and what China can produce and what kind of drones it simply can't manufacture as fighters.
