Thanks for the video. Is there a way to save the color guide options? I like to use 7 steps, but it always resets to 4 steps when I reopen Illustrator. Thanks.
Oooo, that's a good question! I just tested by saving the color guide panel with more steps in a custom workspace, and it reset when I reopened Illustrator, regardless of the saved workspace. So, no, I don't know a way to do that. You can post it on Illustrator User Voice as a feature request. illustrator.uservoice.com I wish Adobe had better documentation of what actually gets saved when we create custom workspaces.

@@LauraCoyle thanks but I am still facing some problems in illustrator.I need your help for the solution of these problems nothing more rather than that.please give me any valid contacting source for solution of these problems. Because without the solution of these problems .I cannot work on the illustrator.Because i love this software of designing and I love work on it.I will be very thankfull to you.if you help me.
What version of Illustrator are you in? This video is in version 24 and we're now in v25. If you have an older version of Illustrator, you may not have Devices in your Preferences.
This is awesome. Thank you for a great tutorial. I have a question about the UI scaling in User Interface. I do not have that showing in my Preferences...do you know why? I'm in AI 24.3 and it updates through the CC.
It may have something to do with your screen size or the resolution it's set at? The smaller the screen, the fewer options in the scale - so maybe Illustrator is detecting something with your screen or setting. Not sure. Have you tried resetting your preferences? If that doesn't work, you should contact Adobe Help - it should not be happening. helpx.adobe.com/support.html
Ok. I’m using a 13” MacBook Pro. I did restart AI several times but it still does not show so maybe it is the screen size. Not sure about resolution. It’s around 5 years old (the laptop).
It could be the 13" screen, this video was done on a 15" screen. I have also used a larger monitor that offered more scaling options in Preferences. But check with Adobe, I'm not sure if that's the issue.
Well Done! Perfect. Just what the doctor ordered! Thank you !

So easy to follow along, thank you Laura. I'm enjoying your tutorials and learning a lot!
Glad you like them!
Strange I can't move the UI scaling to the centre. Only offers small and large
The slider options will look different depending on what monitor you have. So those may be the only options for the monitor you have.

@@LauraCoyle Got it, thanks for the fast response Laura. Indeed I've got a lower versión, 23.0.5, it's time to update.
