In this video, I have with me one of my school friends Nishant. We prepared together for JEE and other exams and both have chosen 2 different paths to college. He explains all the doubts regarding his branch and his decision of opting out of IIT Delhi and Kanpur during JoSAA and going for CSE branch in BITS Pilani.

@@MADHAVJEEI've mentioned my reasons why I went ahead with BITS Pilani. I did not think about taking a drop because I already had a really good college choice in my hands in the branch I wanted to pursue

Suggest take Dual course in pilani or should take drop for next 2024 jee exam and Bits?
Very personal decision. Deep down you'll know why serious you would be in your drop year and what your potential is. If you're confident then one drop year does not hurt at all and if you get an old IIT then that one year would be an amazing investment.

Ek baar withdrawal ka check karle dono jagah. Dono hi bahut hi badhiya colleges (with CSE) hain toh jo choose karega badhiya hai. But I'd slightly be inclined on BITS due to the reasons he mentioned.

I got mce(maths and comp) and will get se most prob in next round. i dont have that much interest to be a day scholar at dtu, so should i take a drop or take admission?
This is a very personal choice. Taking a drop might be very stressful and challenging considering you already have a great college with a great branch, however it might end up awarding you an IIT.
If I were in your shoes, I'd have taken admission and then maybe look for PGs in Rohini.

Watch a video I made on how taking a better college makes more sense than just going for CSE. In my opinion under 2k you should take a good branch in an old IIT for sure.

It'd say 2024's exams still have time.. abhi se specifically BITS matt karo. Study for JEE mains try to do PYQs. Mains achhe se do uske baad BITS specific taiyaari karna

Hello don't think too much, these topics are to be discussed before getting the admission. Once you're in a particular college that is the best and final decision! Don't overthink and undermine yourself by thinking the decision was not correct. Work on your skills and improve !! All the best

EnI is a great branch specially with a campus like BITS Pilani. However if you're sure to give in one more year and can perform great then go for it (basically I'm saying I'm not against taking a drop, many a times they are the best decisions). Personal choice, but remember BITS Pilani is a tier 1 college with a circuital branch like EnI I'd highly be inclined to take it

According to last year cutoff, ece in Hyderabad, but this year cutoff will probably rise so you’ll probably get eee in Hyderabad. Ofc this year they’re adding a new branch that is mathematics and computing, so that may change things
Students who don't get good branch at IITs they go to private colleges like bits. Afterwards all Bitsians propogste that bits is equal to IITs.
Yes Who have talent and got Good Rank but no Reservation candidates going to Bits. Then it's surely equal to IITs
@@memestar5263 OK. But it is wrong and should not be said in social media that if a general candidate getting IIT he may leave IIT and choose Bits. He has prepared hard for IIT therefore if getting IIT must go to IIT. If not getting IIT then one can go to bits.
This is reality and should be presented like this only.
@@Well_done_IITDsee if a person gets 6k rank or 5k rank in jee advanced, then it's not the best rank but not bad either, in that case a person (if can afford) will try to go for a better branch in BITS than in IITs, and what do you mean by IITs as there are 23 of them but a person is mostly likely to choose BITS if he cannot get in top 7-8 IITS, so it's not better than IITs but not bad than them either. Kinda like there's not much of a diff if you stay there in any of em between IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi, just like that there's not much diff between BITS and IIT

@@tanmaysinha7002 You may take it as per your convenience but no college should be compared to IITs. If not getting IITs then BITs is a very good college. You have prepared hard for IIT. Nobody prepared for BITs only. BITSAT is a byproduct of JEE.

agar fees ki problem nhi hai then BITS is ahead in every terms
