Hey Simon. I imagine a world where the students who go to school today feel safe and empowered by the technology around them. I've been applying a lot of your infinite mindset and leaders eat last. I'm in my early 20s and Im currently working part time at a language school to completely transform the school's curriculum. Thank you for what you do. I hope to see you do more in education some day

Step one is to find some allies, tell them your vision, and why it is important. Far too often people walk in with "good intentions" to transform a culture without know the 'why' behind the current culture. Understand the 'why' it is done the way it is done and then you can begin the change the culture. Some of today's 'problems' exist because someone had 'good intentions' yesterday and wanted to completely transform something without knowing 'why' that something is there.

@@GLJosh you are absolutely right. I was recently part of this NGO that wanted to "democratize robotics and STEM". Was a pretty cool cause, but after being there for a year it was clear that he only did it for the fame and name. Such a shame

I personally think you create your own culture. I take good from both cultures and design my own way of life. Not everything in one’s culture is absolute or the opposite; therefore, I design my own culture.

My wife and I say to each other "say and we'll fix it later". Allows the one person to blurt it out, get it out in the open, and the other person is ready to read beyond what is being said and worried about understanding and asking clarifying questions. Once we get to "Ok, we've understood each other" then it is time to answer to that comment and move on =)

Most people hear what they want to hear and treat others like they want to be treated regardless of others needs.

Hi Simon, I am a regular follower of yours. Could you please refer me a youtube video of yours that describe the importance of culture and core values in organisation and why management should be concerned.

Maybe some books will suit you better if you want to get a profound understanding of this topic.
"Always start with why" is a good one.
"Delivering happines"; "Culture by design" and "no rules rules" give also some good inspiration
