  • This video is me discussing how difficult it was to tell my loved ones that I was leaving the Jehovah's Witness religion.
DISCLAIMER: My videos are NOT intended to bash the JW religion, instead I'm sharing my journey and experiences that have affected me personally. If by doing so, the organisation is seen in a negative light I cannot be responsible for that. My overall intention is help others who are going through a similar situation, who need support, someone to relate to and hope that things will get better.

I lost all my JW family and friends after I was DF with the exception of a PIMO cousin and my husband.
My mom died years before I left but I doubt she would’ve shun me. My
deceased dad was never a JW.
    Keep up the good work.
I am so glad that I didn’t follow the JW rule by only having JW friends.

I’m sorry to hear about your family and friends. It’s common for most of us. But like you said, I’m glad you didn’t only have JW friends. In my next video I talk about how I had to start my life all over again, with new friends.

I also was born into the JW religion and experienced the same fear and never feeling good enough like you. Fortunately, my immediate family also left so I didn't experience that part. I hope you finally feel free. I most certainly do. Leaving was one of the best decisions that I made in my life. I do encourage you to read the book "Crisis of Conscience" by Raymond Franz if you get a chance. His book helped me to feel mentally free. Good luck to you and enjoy your life and freedom.

Have a question for u?do u allow your mother or your sister to watch your kids if so do u put stipulation on what they can teach them? I apologize if it's to personal question I'm disfellowshiped and I do know family's that deal with the kids of disfellowshiped relatives but of course limited contact with that parent, as far as teaching the organization always taught its personal choice to get baptized and parents should not pressure kids to do so, so I guess what I'm asking how far are u going to go in persuading your kids not to believe in jehovah if they should become interested one will u allow it to be there choice just was curious your view ,again I very much love u and iam sorry u felt hurt or pain that u r healing from ok

Without going into detail, when it comes to my children, I want them to be well rounded and happy individuals. If they decide when they are grown adults to look into the JW thing that would be their choice. I’ll never lie to them about my views and opinions on it if they ask me, but as adults they will have to make their on decisions. All I want to know is that they’re genuinely happy
