Dude respectfully, if the upcoming blogpost doesn’t mention a release window, like a general time or like a roadmap, and if it’s only about the creative mode gameplay we saw then I’m just done waiting for this game, I’m so tired of the wait and I’m so done with their blogposts that leave much to be desired. Communicate or say goodbye to your dwindling community Hytale, next year better be where they ramp up showing us gameplay and features like how they used to back in the day. Also if the game isn’t out by December 2026 I’m not even gonna bother playing it when it comes out, I’ll be way too busy with life. Here’s to hoping it comes out soon.
"Learn Blockbench and Lua as starting points" As someone who wants to start modding Hytale the moment the dev kit drops, this is SO helpful! I've already gotten started with Blockbench,
i think the tester will be a streamer and modder like piratesoftware (they already reached out) so theres more communication bwtween the general public and the people on the inside
I like this video. I often can't watch live streams as I'm always going somewhere, so this is nice. It is also great that I know which code to start practicing. I'm real excited and it feels like we'll get our hands on it either next year or 2026.
I think by the end of next year we could have a release window of 2026, but I doubt a beta will happen. If creator tool testing occurs only in the latter half of 2025 it seems unlikely
Ehh, not really, cuz you can't buy or pre-order the game and there is no beta test yet. Whereas Star Citizen is actively keeps taking player's money since 2013 with nothing to show for it, besides the unfinished fancy server tech with endless bugs and server wipes. Yes, I know it's a joke, don't 🤓 me plz
I’m wondering how world generation works is it procedurely generated or is it a fixed world for the current mane story and would creative work in the main story world or is it limited to the player island spaces
The tree texture while placing is still very messed up though, I kind of feel like there is still a long way to go, and the new engine doesn't seem any better or worse compared to the old engine, I wish they had some more godrays and just atmosphere effects on the world without stressing the computer too much.
For the textures, I’d guess they interact with each other, so they don’t know how to display until they are placed. It can be fixed but as far as gameplay goes it’s a very small bug. The new engine’s gains will be mostly in performance, plus allowing more complex stuff than before. Performance is hard to show, especially since they’re seemingly keeping render distance low to avoid spoilers, and the gameplay features haven’t been added yet.
The supposed benefits of the new engine are basically invisible to the community, since we've never experienced anything of the old engine let alone its limits. All we see are curated clips and screenshots, so there is no reference point for how the new engine is better.
My only questions are: 1) The game will be Free 2 Play or Pay 2 Play? 2) It will be released on Steam? 3) It will use RIOT's malware disguised as anti-cheat (and thefore incompatible with Steam Deck and Linux)? 4) If 3 is YES can i disable it to play in a private server or offline? As i live in Brazil, so the number 2 is VERY IMPORTANT if the game is pay 2 play, and i don't care much to play offline, that's the way i mostly play voxel survival games anyway.
'tab' should be the standard key for the inventory as in the vast majority of games 'tab' and/or 'i' are already the standard inventory key. minecraft is the only game i can think of that has 'e' instead of 'tab' and/or 'i' which is kind of annoying. 'tab' is a much better choice compared to 'e' because 'e' is a lot more useful as some sort of action key in combat or for utilities because it sits right there with the 'wasd' keys
Let's play a game! What day do you think the winter blogpost will drop? Correct guesses get a shoutout in my blogpost breakdown!
perhaps the 19th
26th
23rd
23rd December
Imma guess the 24th!
If they're already willing to reveal gameplay like that, I am extremely excited to see what they can show us in the next Blog Post.
The things that will be possible with Hytale's redstone, even without mods, will be mind boggling. Can't wait!

There was also one for UI stuff if you’re interested but I have no idea what John said, I know it was mentioned on r/Hytaleinfo though.
its been years ive given up on ever seeing this game any time soon xD
I almost forgot about this game, but I'm happy they're still working on it

Seems like definitely not next year

Good thing they plan to launch a complete game instead of a buggy mess
Winter Blogpost will drop either on the 16th or 19th of this month
Thank you for these informations!
Quick question do you think that the Lua Roblox uses could be used in hytale as I'm currently trying to learn Roblox Lua
Yes, it is the same branch of lua (luau)
I’ll stop spamming u, u got a lot more enthusiastic lately, not more lord of darkness good job 👍
Minecraft's Star Citizen 💀💀💀

Yeah except they aren't solely funded by fans using insane mtx. Actual money blackhole
Not even close.

Procedural, not sure about creative though
I WANT THE FULL SONG VERSION 😭 THE NEW OST IS SO GOOD
really nice video!

By the time Hytale is released, Tesera is already available to play ;/
Your totally right to be insecure about ur audio it’s so bad😜🥱

Undo is such faxxx 🔥
Vaporware at this point
Your video should have much more views.

I agree with tab being better, but in my experience tab is usually the key to bring up scoreboards or player lists.
Nerdddd😘
Yeah how dare u confuse all of us with ur uneducated assumption about the last video 😝😒
