Heavy Rifles are not exclusive to Old Man and Bag Man. Mask Man has an entire line of Heavy Rifle Skills, the first of which (2000) allows him to use them.
the only sniper in forever winter is the svd, the scar would be a good 2nd choice if the suppressed barrel worked. the ntw and the ATR are worse then the other 50cal sniper option that allows for scope swap for different play styles.
the ntw20 is able to kill tanks as well, find a place to hold and unload on the tank you want to kill, same with exo's and mechs though those will be harder kills

Idk why but my Eurasian seller wont sell me SVD parts even though they are max rep. also my SVD is level 31, I've been stuck with the shit lvl 10 receiver scope. Also apparently out of all my time playing, I have never looted a single SVD part ever. is this a bug? plz help
Make sure you're buying from Aramaki in the weapons section. Toggle off "Hide incompatible" items. I've been unable to find modules when buying items on the wrong class. Just keep searching-there are A LOT of items. It's easy to miss, but it should be there. Slow down my video and follow along if that doesn't work (1:11). Otherwise, I'm sorry! It could be a bug, although I think you should be able to find it! Let me know if this worked for you.
@@ForeverIRK OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH. For some reason the parts don't appear for mask man even even if you have the weapon at a high level/ already have high level. It is probably a bug because I can still use the parts when I switch to mask man.
The quest to kill Goldmine, I think his name was. Goldsomething. He's a sniper you can be asked to take out. He'll have the rifle on him, so you'll want to bring a gunrunner
You can also add the scar with full mods, basically a svd. And the Third real big sniper, the GM6 more or less a NTW without scope. The Anti Tank (the only one that matter) is on two mission, The First, "Payback" with GoldBrick the sniper, get his gun back and maybe if the game dont bug, the euruska give you a new one. He spawn around almost any map, but remember like any VIP he can be killed and dont respawn (the commander with toothy is an exception if you far the edge of the map and come back) The Second, is a scav mission on elephant "Pt 3 Collect the Precision Components", in the middle of the map (the bunkers trenches) there is europa crates, the component is inside one of the crates (or more).
In my experience, selling more consumables does boost you to faction level 3. I just didn't show it here. I'll get back to you once I've hoped back in the game.
@@ForeverIRK i raised my rep from negative to max in 1 setting by just mass selling to the same vendor, when you hit neutral it was take a lot to make the bar start moving again but, if you just keep selling you will get to level 3 rep, it takes about 200 to 300k in total sales to get from negative to level 3 rep.
@@operator9858 Yes, it absolutely does before level 2. I've went from absolute minimum to maximum faction rating with Europa when i've unlocked their trader only be selling them stuff.
Watch my video on destroyed weapons. You can take dropped guns through the map a second time, bring them back to your innards, store them, and turn them into working guns.
There are 2 quests that supply the 36M Anti Tank Rifle, one is to find the sniper god on Ashen Mesa (this is the harder quest of the two), the other is collecting precision components from Elephant Mausoleum which is far easier and can be done without combat also.
Pro tip: Dont equip a muzzle device on the NTW20. As it will bug the scope.
Thank you! I was experiencing this at times, wasn’t sure what had happened.

Thank you! I overlooked this
can bagman even use heavy rifles?
@@eclipse3037 Yes, he can! He doesn't even need to train into it unlike the grenade launcher.
There's also a G6C 50 cal sniper you get from a quest. 5 round clip same as NTW, but not one you can get parts for (that I've found yet).
There is also an M4 style sniper rifle that I found recently, the R11 RSASS rifle, considered a more Marksman rifle, uses 308 cal ammo.
Solid info as always and is always refreshing for this enigma of a game / lore.
Thank you!

tried to 1 v 1 a mech with the anti tank rifle, took me around 20 shots, seen some people kill it with less, not sure where are the weak points.
I believe the SVD B receiver that comes with a scope is like level 10-12. likely 10 or 11. Thats about when I got it unlocked
Thanks for the info! I think I unlocked it around the same level, but I wasn't sure.
I've heard level 9 is the unlock of the receiver, but I haven't yet raised my SVD to that level to test
You unlock all the upgrades at level 25 for the SVD.
19 prestige on scab girl. This is a determination. Respect.
