- Nando's chicken is ALWAYS a winner. We're still loving it 8 years on but thought we could probably make our version EVEN better with a couple of simple tips and tricks we've learned along the way.
What do you reckon? Is this a levelled up success or should we have done something else to improve the recipe?

Ebbers has grown so much over time which I think often goes unnoticed by the majority of the community! He’s become less timid and is now more confident to dominate the camera space and is more open and outspoken in comparison to how he was! A massive well done to him for making such significant development that’s helped the channel grow into a global powerhouse who’s brand is very sought after
actually I do like the eating sections, because I like seeing you guys talk about the food and let me know how it tastes and such.
Finally a new cooking video. Love your other stuff as well but really missed those

@@MrDiscumbobulator well it still is. They just have to do more stuff to appeal to a broader audience and stand out against other channels. But that doesn't mean cooking is secondary.

This video has warmed my heart today😊 the chicken recipe from 8 years ago was the very first video i had ever watched of the sorted team, which is what lead me to subscribe to this awesome community and binge watch for years to come from then on, it has lead me to many great recipes that helped create many great memories with my loved ones, all the way from a wonderful meal together or an epic failure we laughed about as we waited for the pizza to be delivered😁 i look forward to many more years of great food and memories with you

I'm glad that they still stand behind their old video, but also have taken what they've learned since to improve it. We all learn and grow though the years! (Omg, it's been 11 years?!?)

Having been a Sorted fan for 5 years now (!), I have to say, it's really an anchoring and happy moment in the video when they say "Sorted!"

Well guys I just absolutely can't deny that I have been missing out on the Sorted experience for way too long. I caught my first glimpse early this morning and have been binging on and off ever since. You've easily gained another lifetime follower. Love your work so please please keep it up. I'm from a small town in Ohio and the only time I've had the "pleasure" of crossing the pond was to do my duty in Iraq but with any luck hopefully I'll have the chance in my lifetime to visit London for some proper fish and chips. Cheers!

Oh man this is amazing, I miss going for Nando’s at almost every opportunity... living 2 blocks away from a Nando’s was a blessing and a curse.
I love nandos and missed them so much during lockdown but now they've opened back up my favourite thing is gone! I'm a vegetarian and was addicted to their mushroom and halloumi wrap. The mushrooms were so juicy and well marinated.
I personally miss Jon so much. Watching you guys since the beginning, and Jon's just like part of the Sorted's foundation. Gosh, I could crying out loud for 1 chance to see him return :)

New subscriber - this was the first recipe I made. Delicious, and the aroma is fantastic. My wife had it roasting when i got home. We live on the 5th floor of our building. I could smell it from the first floor!

Bonus points for referencing adobo chicken (although I may have to deduct a point for the use of smoked water). Original looks delicious, but the upgraded version looks absolutely amazing!

From my nandos days, they keep it whole and cook it in the oven, and then grill it (whilst slathering it in Peri Peri sauce)

Aww yeah, Ben knows how to correctly fry fries! Although I would go for 160°C for the first fry, let them cool and drip out, then full force 190°C for the second fry.
And yes using oil is healthier, but to get the very best fries you'll ever eat you need to fry them in filtered beeffat. (in Belgium it's called "Ossewit" or "Blanc de Bœuf")
Honestly if you've tried it once you'll never want to use oil again!

I'm Canadian, and although we do have Nandos here, in my city it's not really a phenomenon. I just got my hands on some prebottled Nandos brand sauce... and oh yeah.. I get it! New fan!

I worked at nandos for a while. It’s straight up just marinated in a sort of prego sauce for a few days and chucked in a steam oven.

Hi sorted guys. I like to know what peppers to use. Even the difference of green or red ripe jalapeños make a huge difference. Thank you for specifying the birds eye chili. But you need to specify a bell pepper vs anaheim vs jalapeño vs Serrano, etc.
