Great Interview I watch you both as my 2 holidays last year were Tenerife and Benidorm. I agree with Lucy about the old town being better than the new as you get older. I have been to Benidorm many times but last year was the 1st time I had ever been near the old town, its like a different world walking round the narrow streets with its many bars and restaurants. There was even a lovely chippy down 1 of the alleys called Northern Sole really good we went a couple of times.
Hi Mr MacMaster. I just thought I'd check out this vlog of yours eventhough im still way behind on your other ones. Great interview and thanks for introducing us and making us aware of Lucy and her YTChannel. A very useful source of information she would be. I never knew she went there to begin with at 16 and did 2 year and stayed from 18 that takes guts tbf and Lucy as done well and you’ve got to respect that wish I did I’ll tel you that Lucy as to be respected 👍🏻

I loved this,been following Lee and Lucy for a few years,I go tenerife a lot,and been benidorm at least 30 times over the years,there is something for everybody,if you want it quieter just jump on a number 10 bus and visit Albert,its beautiful.

Double whammy today, can't be bad, I understand where Lucy is coming from saying she likes the old town, I've only been 5 times to Benidorm so I still like the levante area, I could imagine doing the clubs n pubs for a long time and getting a bit tired after a while especially if I lived there, but in fairness I could live in Benidorm and Tenerife, Lucy loves her sports as well, I like that side of her as well, but I bet she was terrific fun when she was on the pub/club scene.

Ave video mate, we go every year and also have a good chat with Lucy in winners bar everytime we go.
Benidorm I went there on my Honeymoon back in October 1971. It was about the only place open at that time of year back then. We had a great 2 weeks there.My first wife was frightened by live Lobster on a fish-mongers slab.We had plenty of good food. Not too much of the English strip back then.

Defo brings sunshine in all our lives. During early last year, there were lots of things happening surrounding Covid and Spanish Government, changes were coming thick and fast and regularly too. Lucy helped to put all our minds at ease and it certainly helped me as I was concerned about travelling as well as with my friend Tommy, I was worried about him and his welfare too. Lucy helped with all that and I let her know when I met her at Winners, I think she appreciated. I also said to her that, "You see all those folks out there enjoying themselves, you've helped to bring them here and put them at ease to come, good on ya!"
Definitely Neil, Lucy is awesome. Hope to meet up one day for a pint. Maybe in Winners! :0)

As regular visitor to Benidorm and Tenerife I find most people I speak to in either destination have visited both destinations and enjoyed them both. Great film Lee.

@Leigh Thomson it's called Winners Bar. Head down Calle Gerona, towards Old Town. It's in an area locally known as Food Street, a pedestrianised area. Just after Hotel Los Alamos. Anything further I can help you with let us know.

Hi Lee, I enjoy Lucy channel and fab on her roller skates and take the tour. Been a few times and love the place ❤
It's a bit like that in the Caribbean. We love it when the tourists arrive and fill the economy with life. However, once they leave and it's summertime, having Antigua back to ourselves is lovely too. Most whities can't handle the 110f temps and lack of winds, but then moan about the hurricanes.

Yes Benidorm is misrepresented in the media, people have the wrong idea. I went for the first time out of curiosity as I was nearby and realised there is so much there. I now go regularly. I also use it as a base as there are so many resorts that are easily accessed nearby, altea, guadalest, alicante ect are all very near. Plus there is a metro that goes along the coast.

Great video was watching Lucy’s videos through lockdown and I’ve been a couple times last year unfortunately never bumped into her but I love the place specially the old town like you’ve posted in your latest video I love the place as you best of both worlds really
