I like this color scheme it works better than you would've imagined. Now im a somewhat new subscriber and I've been binge watching your videos jumping around to your videos going from current to much older builds. My comments are new but bare with me I'm still going through them and im loving everyone of them

I really enjoy your videos and I generally learn something new each time I watch. For example. I've seen you use silver in the past to make the Yellow come out better. I am going to try that with the tips of propellers on WW2 aircraft. They never seem to come out as I want them to. Great video, thanks for sharing!

I did a mad max style build with this chassis and the body of a 1994 Civic. It was interesting. 😂

I bought the Bullitt themed kit just to find out this particular 2 in 1 kit has all the parts to produce one. Had to buy one because the paint wouldn't adhere to the body of the Bullitt properly and got ruined

That is 3000 grit, not 300 grit as it says in the description...unless you want to remove the primer you just put on. 😆.

What's the easiest way to sand the mold lines away from the windshield pillars because it's such a thin space to get something in there?

Do you or have you in the past ever done body paint with rattle cans? If not would you be willing to paint a body build with rattle cans? I do love your airbrush skills and wish I had those same skills myself. This Mustang looks amazing. You do fantastic work brother.

Can you explain the use of the fine line tape to outline the 10mm tape you already laid down? What does that accomplish? Really learning a lot from your vids (subscriber) - excellent quality.

Great video. Can you amplify what is a mold line is and how you recognize it? Hard to see on the video.

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Mould lines are lines left behind from the moulding proces when the kit is made, this is a line where to mould halves meet. This is a line that sticks out on top of parts where no lines are supposed to be, they are in different places on every different kit.

@@TheScalemodelingChannel I have been modeling for years doing aircraft this is my first introduction to doing cars. I understand about the mold lines, but what I don’t know is how to recognize mold line from what is supposed to be on the car body. Sorry for the dumb question. Do enjoy videos. Easy to follow and give info for a beginner car molder.

    Dear Tom,
I am currently building a Revell 1969 Ford Boss 302 Mustang.
The outside color of the body is yellow/orange. Inside roof is black and engine bay is black as well.
What is the best sequence to spray it? Inside first? Or outside and then masking for spraying the engine bay.
Alternatively I could go with a brush for the engine bay.
    Do you have a recommendation?

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel

I really like those colors! Lovin' this build. So is the silver base coat just for a yellow, or would it be good for any light color on a dark body? Like white?

You should build the 1/16 scale mustang model. I don’t know the brand but I had one and I’ve seen them in stores. It’s a different build but a chance to get some really intricate details
