On a Tundra, you will use the amplified connection only if you have a factory JBL audio system. There will be JBL logos on the speaker grilles and/or the factory radio itself if it is equipped with the JBL audio package. If not, use the non-amplified connection when making your connections. This system will work with both, amplified and non-amplified trims.
@@Stinger.Solutions Thanks for the reply. I started installing my Heigh10 last night and finished it up today. Great system. I’m really happy with it so far. Thanks!
Hi, quick question, did you installed with the JBL? I started installation yesterday with the JBL system, and I wasn't able to get a sound, reverse camera, and starring wheel to work, and I plugged in to doth non and amplifier.

Why do all of these head units require their own external microphone? I mean they utilize the factory steering wheel controls why can’t they use the factory microphone?
All microphones have their own internal resistance. We can't keep the factory mic working across all brands of vehicles. They are all too far apart in values. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us at 1-800-477-2267 EXT: 3333
Confirmation tones can be turned off completely, or the level adjusted up/down in the system settings menu of the HEIGH10. You can find that in the user guide linked below, on page 26. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0311/6485/8503/files/UN1810_UG_REV_080822_100P_25.pdf?v=1674590421
