Hello, my dear friend! I looked at your video and got a good mood! Thank you! I congratulate you on the coming holiday of the working people! I wish you that the work would be fun!
Hello @DetectingMetal. New sub👍 Did you seek permission for this one or are these slopes abandoned? We have a ski club here where I live. Those wire pieces belong to ski boots. A clasp fastener to tighten the boots on ya feet. Great venue. Im working on the same venue, but will need a permission first. And will be my first permission. It’s been around since the thirties, doubt if it’s even been hit, ever. Definitely treasure awaits. Almost at 3 million views. Congrats. Look forward to watching your videos. Happy hunting.
People start taking off their gloves and fiddling around after fist tower. That's when they drop things. Look at the base of steep slopes. When they fall their pockets empty. If their wrists are exposed sometimes their watches are ripped off when they fall. Found a solid gold Rolex in the snow back in the early 70's. I was thinking of doing a big VT ski area this summer. Lot's of steep climbing for metal detecting but good exercise. P.S. Those loops are from boot buckles.
I didn't notice it the first time, then got some on my arms. Noticed it the second time. Hard to notice when it's cut close to the ground instead of a big vine. Thanks for watching.
Yeah its the metal frame for chair lift passes. We used to get a big sticker that would wrap around the metal and stick to itself so it becomes a big floppy tag, then that would attach to your jacket zipper. Haven't seen that method since the 80s/90s. Ahh the good 'ol days when disposables were made of metal.
I lived in the Naugatuck Valley but I just sold my house. I'm looking for another house now, probably in the same area. I've been staying out of state. I'd love to hook up with you when I get settled. I'll be in touch. Thanks for watching.

Just a thought people usually wear gloves during winter and skiing, so i doubt rings would be falling off folks.
I thought about that. The rings could fall off when they take their glove off though. They must have people crashing and falling down too.
Good job on the ring. Cool Garter too.
Be well,
Al-Fu
Thanks for watching Al. Garter snakes are pretty common up here.
Congratulations on the ring.. I think those zipper pulls are used for chair lift passes..

I think you're right. They ring up like nickels. Thanks for watching.

Lots of silver jewelry made in HS art classes usually made from scrap so no marks are put on them pieces.
well chris, you said clad and jewelry. you hit that right on the head. good job my friend :0)
It was okay. Not many people around which is good. Thanks for watching.
good job,i do get rings but mostly junk and coins
my thought here, most people wear gloves, hence few rings
just hunted Arizona snow bowl again and i found my first gold ring at the main lift with my at-pro wahoo
leaves of three let it be!
Congrats on the silver ring! Hey I'm in CT too and would love to hunt together sometime. Let me know if you're interested.

I always wanted to try detecting ski resorts, great idea. Take care
Looks like a home made ring, you have any way to test it.
It could be home made. I don't have a test kit. I'm pretty sure it's silver. Looks like it and sounds like it when dropped on a table.
What part of ct are you in???
