I've just always used the socket to re start the new plug, ALSO I always use Antiseize so the threads don't get the tendency to pull out, especially aluminum head

i’m sure this works but i just use a spark plug socket the same one i tighten and loosen with. I get it if you only have sockets tho good tip.
