Cats and cars, the best form of entertainment 👍😁. I recently had a leak on my Merc CLK320. Took ages to find, did all the usual gaskets. Turned out to be a core plug in the middle of the V on the block. Was on the oil gallery and had a small pin hole. Very satisfying to get it sorted.
I was going to replace one a few years ago but the sensor was rusted in so it never got done. It's working, thankfully, but if I ever need to replace it, it might need to be cut out or something. Taking it out risks breaking it.
@@bimmerclubsport Yeah, I've seen that they can be hard to get off. I've been putting mine off for 2 years, there is a tray covering the area and someone said you need to remove part of the exhaust to get to it. I don't know if that is true. I can't find much info online for UK 330ci (non Clubsport)

When you sort it yourself, the satisfaction is worth it.
Ever done the O2 Sensors (pre cat) on this motor? There's plenty of USA DIY videos on YT but they are in a different position to EU models.
