What a lovely life driving one of these in the 80s. No horrible boss or coworkers or packed offices. Just you and being one with nature.

What a fantastic video. I really like how you explain the signals and signage along the line, as well as the train controls! Thanks for posting!

I like this image of the lonely DMU on a cold frosty day in the middle of the Highlands stopping at fairly empty stations because it looks so much more accurate.
More accurate than a Caledonian Class steam train (though beautiful they are) or an Ivatt class 2mt hauling a a rake of maroon mk 1 coaches full of European and American tourists.

Thank's Eddie that was great. Do you mind if I download your films and show them to my friends at the Perth Film Makers club at the threshold centre Wednesdays 7pm. We have meetings every other Wednesday for club films and guest speakers but we have extra Wednesdays in between where it is usually open for members to show everybody what they're good at and hopefully pass on some ideas to make us better film makers. You are quite welcome to visit us as I'm sure we'll enjoy your films. Des.

Great. I'll be watching this again. Unless I missed it, I don't think you mentioned what the white letter 'W' stands for.

DES. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I'm currently not in the country and only got Internet access today. I have no problem with you showing the film, let me know what your club thought and I would love to visit. I hope to be back March the 14th so some time after that. My email is therailways007@gmail.com. I also have a site on BritishrailwaysTV same name TheRailways007. Contact me with a date. Regards. Eddie

BML54 What??? Another target on YOU HOUSE ??? What??? Did you attend DSST with blueyoshi970 ? That explains many things!
Always CASH paid for steam locomotive parts on the black market! Engineer's & fireman's instruments, bell, whistle, headlight, number herald, marker lights, builder's plate, grab irons, brass bearings, bushings or babbitts, tools, wiring, tubing, valve handles, valves, levers & many other parts. ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTIONS ARE EVER ASKED ABOUT WHERE THE PARTS MAY HAVE COME FROM, WHEN OR HOW THEY WERE ACQUIRED! Very, very lucrative! Very, very profitable! Very, very low, low risk! It is very, very easy, quickly accessible & so, so rewarding!
Haul 765, 261, 4449, 700, 1630, 844, 261, 4014 and 3985 to the scrapyard, torches, plasma cutters, chippers & crusher! Load out all that iron to foundry, put in the crucible of an induction furnace & melt it down! Happy, happy days!
Junk all the remaining steam locomotives! Cut them apart & melt them down. Besides, it is fun for the WHOLE FAMILY, to watch the steam locomotive being melted!

2716Kanawa Yes! Here is something else from my own writings which will not surprise you.
Dear citizens: Instead of paying your hard earned money to these ridiculous relics of junk & their so called organizations of preserving heritage railroads for their own purposes, would you not rather be the one getting paid? There is a great way to make that happen. There is ALWAYS CASH paid for steam locomotive parts on the black market!

      Here is a long list of steam locomotives which can be targeted 2, 3, 13, 29, 93, 112, 175, 197, 202, 261, 385, 464, 470, 482, 484, 486, 488, 489, 502, 506, 576, 592, 630, 643, 700, 759, 765, 844, 1218, 1223, 1258, 1309, 1361, 1504, 1518, 1604, 1630, 2100, 2101, 2124, 2156, 2467, 2500, 2542, 2716, 2749, 2933, 3001, 3003, 3007, 3424, 3977, 3985, 4003, 4004, 4005, 4006, 4008, 4012, 4014, 4017, 4018, 4023, 4100, 4294, 4449, 4460, 4500, 4501, 4516, 4524, 4978, 5017, 5629, 6755, 7002, 8300, 8305, 8327 and 9000 are out there waiting for a visit to have the parts removed for black market CASH sales! Then haul all of them into the scrapyard, torches, plasma cutters, chippers & crusher! Load out all that iron to foundry, put in the crucible of an induction furnace & melt it down! Happy, happy days!
If you are traveling The best part, these targets are all around the country. If you are traveling & need some quick CASH, there is always one near you, waiting for a visit for a parts removal! Doesn’t that sound good?
Junk all the remaining steam locomotives! Cut them apart & melt them down. Besides, it is great fun for the WHOLE FAMILY to participate & watch the steam locomotive being cut apart & melted down the following day! Makes for a wonderful cut them apart & melt them down vacation!
