    Hi y’all, I’m about to start on painting the interior of my RV (make it more like a tiny house) and I have two questions. Can I remove the little slivers of trim that cover the seams of wall paneling and just caulk them? And, for a separated & drooping slide ceiling panel, what should I do/use to get the ceiling up again?
    Thank you and I’m loving your RV vids!

      Might be too late, but hope your project is going well. We don't remove the slats. For the ceiling droop, you need to find a stuff to staple back into if possible.

    very helpful. Which Do you think will hold better primer + paint combo ? Or separate primer and separate paint ?

      @TheFlippinTilbys  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably separate primer and paint, but the combo has held up perfectly

    What sheen of paint /primer do you use? I didn't see any painters tape?

      Satin is my favorite sheen to use and I cut in everything with an angled brush instead of using tape!

    Do all RVs have the silicon caulking? Can you test before painting?

    • @TheFlippinTilbys
      @TheFlippinTilbys  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They don't all have it, it's most likely silicone caulking if it's see through and has a bit of shine. Water doesn't stick to silicone either.

    I thought u had to use special caulking like flexible caulking...thanks I have regular stuff I can start today 👍

      Flexible isn't a bad idea but it's not necessary!

      @@TheFlippinTilbys good to know I'm in a bunch of rv groups and everyone said it was will let them know it's not necessary ❤️

    Are the walls metal and if not what is the best suggestion in painting metal walls?

    • @TheFlippinTilbys
      @TheFlippinTilbys  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The actual RV walls aren't metal, they are paneling. The exterior of trailers can be metal though and that's a whole different process, you would need to get either automotive paint or marine paint.

    What color green did you use?

    • @TheFlippinTilbys
      @TheFlippinTilbys  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's Bher Alpine Trail, I used semi gloss this time but prefer the satin finish. Thanks for watching!
