I absolutely LOVED the main story, and I jumped onto the DLC as soon as it launched. I love that, besides being a different world, it doesn't stop being Eastward. Also I definetly shed some tears for Alva and Isabel when I saw them.
I wasn't sure if we'd ever get any additional Eastward, so when I saw this DLC announcement, I was stoked too. I also got emotional at various parts of the story. The first time you sit everyone down together for dinner I was like, "oh it's so good to be back in this world!" References to EarthBorn also got me too
If you end up getting the game or Octopia, let me know what you think! The original Eastward is very Zelda-ish in the gameplay department, with a blend of EarthBound. Lots of dialogue but I enjoyed it.
This game’s graphics are so breathtakingly beautiful, I love it all so much. Thanks so much for this video, it was such a cozy little treat to watch this morning 😊 I LOVE Sam.
I remember trying Eastward on game pass and for whatever reason, I just could not get into it. But I also think it’s possible maybe I didn’t really give it much of a chance. this DLC sound pretty cool and sounds like a totally different game. I have a lot of nostalgia for harvest moon 64 . Also my son enjoys playing Stardew Valley from time to time. This news really flew under my radar.
It's a wonderful world to be in, and I really think the developers thought about player experience, knowing that the people who this would appeal to most probably already have played Stardew Valley. It respects your time.
Hmmm i briefly played the base game on gamepass but it had some weird technical issues. I should give it another go as im sure they've sorted out the issues. Loved the vibe so im curious how the rest of it goes. Enjoying your vids! Keep up the good work :)
Gamepass is so hit or miss. I played Psychonauts on it recently and had a TON of sound issues and stuff... I've exclusively played it on Steam and haven't had any issues, I've heard nothing but good things about the Switch version too. Thanks so much for watching this oldie but a goldie!

Whoa! Also a HM64 turbo fan here. Eastward had a really fascinating art style but I never invested into it, or new of this DLC.
Wow, the devs don't seem to rest easy, every bit of the game seems like they thought about how they should design it. Very cool!
