Rocking P Ranch: The Buffalo (Bison)

For decades the Blades family's Rocking P ranch has used buffalo, bison, in their grazing program. Although much more challenging to handle, especially in tight quarters like corrals and sorting pens, these bearded grazers have unique and useful qualities. The buffalo utilize higher ground, the tops of the ranch's Eastern Slopes hillsides. But if a buffalo lifts its tail, Mac Blades knows from experience, watch out, especially if you're mounted on a horse!
