imo, the movies are 💩 in comparison to the books. the movies feel so rushed and they don't really do a good job capturing the intensity of hardin and tessa's relationship. not to say that it was poorly cast, i think hero and jo are great in their respective roles, but it seems like they didn't really have much to work with as far as the script goes.
