VW has cheapened the whole line of passats and CC's for 2016 and beyond here in the U.S. I would love to see this car here in the US ..maybe 2018? And he keeps saying those are Telladega Wheels and they are called Montauk here in the U.S.
this is the Passat CC 2017 model and 2018 model for US and yes the wheels are Taladega wheels and this is a R LINE CC so it has the sport package and the steering wheel is a flat bottom design because it is R LINE
I see your post is 8 months old Kristyn. I'm sure you've seen the 2017's by now. I purchased a 2017 CC R line executive about 2 months ago and I really like it. It has LED taillights and looks identical to this car as far as the exterior. It has enough tech for me but two things that are missing that I really wish it had are the warning detection for objects in the front and back and blind spot assist. The first thing I did was install LED CAN bus emitters in the entire car so it's all LED now. The 2.0 TSI has enough power for me as I wasn't looking for a true sports car. The interior is nice as well but I wish it had ventilated seats. It's too hot in Florida/South Carolina to even think about using the heated seat function. Anyway, I like it and I'm glad they updated the taillights and front end. The Bi Xenons work great but I wish they were LED because LED really is the way to go as far as seeing well at night. Anyway.....One of the few North america VW's still made in Germany (Not that that really matters) No flat bottom steering wheel and the 18" Montauk wheels on mine.
Haven't found a CC R Line here in the US with that flat bottom steering??? Can anyone explain why this CC has it and all the CCs I've seen has the plain round school bus steering wheel

No. I just test drove the 2017 CC R-Line in White and it does not have a flat bottom steering wheel. And the alloy wheels are called 18" Montauk.

I believe that the flat bottom steering wheel is only fitted to the Euro spec car. The car in the video is a black edition special.
