This podcast is an absolute godsend to me. I lost my mother 6 months ago and had to deal with all the associated nonsense while working full time. There's so much negative stuff on TV and online, then find this wonderful podcast. It relaxes me, makes me laugh, and makes me realise there are good times to come despite how crappy things are right now. Keep them coming...
I am very sorry for your loss! My sister died last year very unexpectedly. She was only 39 years old. Since then I listened to a lot of podcasts. And this has been the only English one as I am German the other ones were German.
Sorry to hear that. Have a look for Jordan and Williams podcast called help I sexted my boss. Only if you're very open minded and into often childish smut and innuendos. It's brilliant though and is such a feel good podcast like this.
I’m so sorry for your loss, I lost my mother in 2010 at age 16 and I found a wonderful poem written by Whitney Hanson on grief, I found it on TikTok in 2022 and still find comfort in it. I hope things get easier for you ❤
I love this show on youtube so much that I searched for the podcast! I’m in Canada so I don’t know who Jordan and William are, but they are so funny and lovely and endearing that I will do a search and listen to their podcast as well. These shows are just what we need in these troubling times. They bring joy and levity to their listeners. I wish we had these formats here. Thank god for youtube and other streaming apps which allow me to find these gems! Great recipes, great conversations, Angela’s laugh 😀 (chef’s kiss), interesting guests - it has it all. Bravo! Cheers from over the Pond 🇨🇦
I'm in Canada too and have searched their back catalogue of shows on Spotify. Completely addicted to this youtube channel and I also have no idea who many guests are. This show is a gem.
I've loved Nick and Jordan since their R1 days and had a fleetingly brief chat with Angela after Nick's book talk in Dalston in 2023. I'm a regular Dish listener and I'm gassed that the videos are available now.
This was lovely! Made me think of my late Nan and what we would have at her house often, a hot or cold 'bitsa'. Bits of this or bits of that. Cold usually being meat/cheese/crackers/salad/pickles and hot usually bacon/eggs/sausage meat etc. She never bought sausages, she hated the skin! Good memories and often have a 'bitsa' tea these days!
Lol, i just moved back to Scotland from London a couple of years ago. Brothers think i sound English and I'm still trying to get back into calling it Tea again
I read an article years ago that The French House only does half pints, and now every time I think about half pints I think about The French House, so I was happy to hear it mentioned. 😊
I have never come across this podcast. All I can say is that’s the most entertaining 25 minutes I’ve ever spent. It was wonderful and I love Jordan and William. I think the great together I think there shows good help by Sexted my boss I love all of it, and that was really good, take care guys have lots of🎉❤🎉
i’m so grateful to come across this podcast randomly, you sold me on the gordon ramsey ep and i haven’t turned back, i’m in the dish rabbit hole with no return 🎉❤❤❤❤ AMAZING
Absolutely love this show, its always such a treat. Every episode its just another guest(s) that bring a huge smile to my face. Though as a history nerd, I can't help but be pedantic and mention that the lisp story about the Habsburgs that William mentioned at the start is just a myth. 😄
@@agadoin 🤣🤣🤣 in today's woke world all is possible! Please delete your comment before your mum gets in trouble!!! @@madheremadthere4616 Yes that’s a silly myth. If it were true they would pronounce words like “Ethpaña” or “adioth”. He’s knowledgable about etiquette but not so much other things.
Picky Tea is called “snacks” in my American home. Whatever snacks we have in the pantry or fridge. How I enjoyed this show! The merging of my two favorite podcasts!
Love William and Jordan. Never watched the dish but thought I’d give it ago because because I saw a clip of them on it. Really enjoyed and have now subscribed 🥰
can i suggest to put an english caption? i ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching this show but its really hard for me (as a second spoken english and trying to learn the British accent) to understand some words that i can hardly hear even worse to understand:), thank you!
Love this series, two fab quests. Help, I sext my boss Podcast…. First time to listen to their podcast I listened to the 2023 round of of best episodes… (you have to listen to it) HILLLLAAAARRRRIIIOOOUUSSSSS

French here. You NEVER have chicken in cassoulet dear Angela. You can have confit duck or confit goose, the Castelnaudary cassoulet, the main meat being pork sausage and pork belly with the rind as in Toulouse cassoulet.
I have a friend who says the stupidest thing at pizza express - says "Doughballs pizza express". they know where the doughballs are from lol

We call it snack dinner at our house - girl dinner is a lame trend.I’ve got a friend who calls it eurotrash dinner, which she means nicely. Picky tea is a good name!
Youd never know just before they filmed this podcast jordan got told he wouldnt ever be on radio one again. They didnt let him serve his notice so to speak and just booted him off the radio once he revealed he was moving to capital.
(Imagine if one could… channelling Margo from ‘The Good Life… speaking the Queens language)… “Never mind William you may not have a cloche to offer… but you still can still please with your soft pork . One would hope so. …”😂
Totally agree that less is more on a plate and then add as you like. No one finds a plate that looks like the dogs dinner appetizing. You first eat with your eyes, too much on a plate makes me lose my appetite.
Avocado Pear is like Koala Bear. An avocado is not a pear it is a similar shape to one. A Koala (marsupial) is not a bear. It looks vaguely similar to one

26:53 the level of disgust on William's face when Jordan said he's done a picky tea with Yorkshire puddings 😂
Imagine using a giant Yorkshire for a plate, bonus.
@ I do that sometimes when I fancy nothing but chicken, stuffing and gravy lol
@@jamesdawson2393 lashings of gravy mmmm
The buzz of convo and the clinking of plates and cutlery and the way they talk, eat… This show makes me feel comforted ❤
😍what a gorgey assortment of characters, chief among them: angela's iconic glasses 💛
And her laugh!!
Those are great frames!
This is what I needed on a Friday ❤❤
Four lovely people having a lovely lunch and a lovely chat. This makes me so happy 😊
You know that random can of pringles is actually killing William. It’s right in his line of sight 😂😂😂
Yes! Came to the comments for this!
I love a picky tea but my mum’s lazier option was always “ifits” - if it’s in the cupboard you can have it!
I'm so happy you said "ifits"! I thought it was just my grandparents that said it ❤

Great to watch a whole episode with Jordan and William 😊
Are we just gonna ignore " I treated jordan to my soft pork' 😂
…better than hard crackling? Perhaps 😊
You could hear someone in production laugh out loud
I love Dish always but this was a fabulous episode. So much fun had.
Loved all the people in this video. I have been a big fan of William and Jordan for a long time but now I think I need to subscribe to The Dish.

Fantastic, nick & angel are a scream but those two are hysterical. Wish Dish was a mainstream TV program
Spaniard here and we do put meat and fish in paella. Maybe not everywhere but it is not a capital sin in food terms!
My mum’s Spanish and she puts chorizo in Paella. Maybe she should be arrested?

I'm an American . I adore this podcast and I adore Brits. Anything Brit,Irish or Scot is fabulous
My mum always referred to a pickie tea as bits n bats...always contained hard boiled eggs! Love William's "cold collation."
Picky Tea is called “snacks” in my American home. Whatever snacks we have in the pantry or fridge.

Peep the Pringles Can over Angela's left shoulder 🤣
HUGE fan of this show. Love from austin, Texas USA ❤❤❤❤
Love William and Jordan. Never watched the dish but thought I’d give it ago because because I saw a clip of them on it. Really enjoyed and have now subscribed 🥰

“alligator pears”. 13:18
Such a great episode! Love the picky tea moment. Growing up we called it “odds n ends” 🤭
Great fun and informative too! (waistcoat buttons and lisps)
I located their podcast and will listen soon.
FYI Coleslaw literally means cabbage salad. Kohl is German for cabbage
The chemistry between Angela and Nick is wonderful ❤

I love her!! Now time to get Nicola Conghlan on the show!! Keep adding to the Derry Girls guests!
It’s ‘Abendbrot’ in Germany and is generally bread with cold meats, cheese and mustard (and a glass of beer).

Jamie Oliver is not welcome in the Jamaica either or any millennials home (school dinners were never the same) 😂

We call picky tea, "odds and sods".
Picky Tea Season 😂 so true!
LOVE a “picky tea”, it’s what I’ve always called it. I live in Dublin, and I have to explain it to everyone!
I would call it ‘nibbles’ and something I’d do if friends were coming over for a wine night. Or picky bits!
I remember Julia Roberts in pretty woman calling it a carpet picnic.

I LOVE this podcast.❤ . Massively effective marketing. I would consider, but my nearest is just too far away. Plus can Waitrose compete with Aldi?
My Spanish girlfriend who’s a linguist says the Spanish king story is just a myth, bit like the V sign is from battle of Agincourt.

I’m shocked that William didn’t know the etymology of the word coleslaw! The “cole” is from the Dutch word “kool” meaning cabbage.
I think picky tea must be a northern term. Never had that in Wales growing up but we definitely had breakfast, dinner and tea
