Poor Angela, thinking she's just making some nice nosh for a British comedian, only to be confronted with S. Merchant, Michelin Star Restaurant Critic 😅
The guests are always good . Stephen Merchant excelled . Nich is delightful . But Angela is the star every time . Her laughter is so honest . She is definitely top of my 10 people to invite to my imaginary dinner party list , she would be so much fun !
Loving these podcasts! I’m holding off backtracking to see the ones I’ve missed, instead I’m having a blast as they randomly show up in my feed. Every guest is a treat even if I’ve not met them before. (I’m in the USA so some I’m not familiar with.)) The hosts are genius! So much fun. Angela’s laugh is everything. Cheers!
I remember Alex mentioned Merchant being one of the contestants he'd like to have on TM, but Stephen is quite a busy man and TM filming takes a while..so.
honestly one of the best Dish episodes yet. Love this guy, so hilarious and what a great guest. When does Ricky appear, I am sure Angela could whip up a lovely vegan dish for him!
Such an amazing country, was travelling the last couple years and spent 3 weeks in Croatia. Easily one of my favourite countries I've visited! Did Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik!
every day i thank the stars that I get to watch the videos of the DISH podcasts! this with the national treasure sir stephen merchant was absolutely hilarious!
~ Saying Massive Attack (allegedly) means speaking to Banksy, as well. Happy they mentioned Trip-Hop and those Bristol pioneers (including Tricky and Portishead). That scene and time in music is very influential to my growth as an artist. It’s interesting to think of podcasts as a saturated market. I’d imagine television and film to be quite saturated, as a former Film/Media studies major.
That’s us cooking curry (and fish sometimes). I stick it on the balcony in an electric pan, it does the trick. No curry smell in the house for days (light a candle too).
No surprise when you put him and ricky gervais together we got genius shows like extras and the office.their xfm show is still the Michael Jackson Thriller of podcasts too. Id love to see them go do these interviews together about the good old days, they are both hilarious and genuine. Genuine and authentic is rare in 'showbiz'.
Comedy mogul and national treasure Merchant's death rattle heard while finagling £30 Waitrose gift bag by tearing down local parsnip farmer's claim to fame.
Stephen Merchant is hilarious but i am so surprised he hasn't heard the phrase 'he can put his shoes under my bed'. I heard women saying that 50 years ago when i was a kid.
This brought back a memory to me of an extremely buttoned up older lady I worked with. During lunch one day she said this about our coworker who was 30 years younger than her.
lol, I think the first time we went out as a family to eat as a family was at a Harvester for someones birthday. Mum's cooking was too good to miss, so it wasn't something that we even thought about (going out to eat)
The crowd in the background just adds everything to this
I really enjoyed the faux-tiff between OBE Angela and National Treasure Smerch.
I didn't like it. Did you really like it?
Gotta love the British sense of humour 😂
Why didn't you like it?
I'm quite interested in the reasoning for this, if you will allow the pleasure. @@amandajohnstone696

Could listen to Stephen all day, reminds me of the old brilliant XFM show 📻

This has become one of my favorite podcasts! Nick and Angela are a great duo. Love the fusion of cooking/hosting/serving with your guests! :)

Please put this man on taskmaster.
What she said! Best casting idea ever!

The three tallest men on tv.
He maybe could do the one-off Christmas/ New Year special. Those are done over a week, I believe I heard one of the Andy's say. But, the man is busy..
Merchant and Fry. Or, A Steven series...
Hail stepehen merchant . He is one of the best writers and comedians out there. I love his family stories.
Just love DISH - listening to the podcast & then watching it - keep them coming Angela, Nick, the Dish Team, Waitrose, & SE:Creative ❤

This is easily the most unlikely podcast you’d find in my favourites list when looking at everything else I watch. Love this show!
Wish this went on longer, was great fun!
National Treasure Stephen Merchant! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 🏅
This man has had a chaotic lifestyle since he was a kid!!! Such a fun interview 🤣🤣
Eyes bulging with imagined dishes.
Beat me to it! 😅
Gx you've done him, play a record
It's the mammal.... right....that's got....sort of...the pointiest eyes. Eyes that pop out of our their head......... Steve.
Stephen Merchant is one of the greatest actors ever. He needs more recognition in the world. Just a wonderful man and an immense talent.

I haven't had a proper laugh in years until I caught this podcast today... Cheers, mate! ❤
You haven't laughed in years? Have you been in prison?
@@neilm3955a mental prison. Prisoners have laughs
Yay it’s Stephen Merchant!
My Dad used to cook kippers outside or in his garage as my Mum refused to have the smell in the house. They are delicious.

He should be everyone's Dim Shardashian. He is what we have a comedy ledge left, so let's like, make the most of him.
Utterly brilliant interview x❤
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. STEPHEN MERCHANT IS ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. LOVE HIM
If Stephen is not a national treasure, I don’t know which way is up.
He’s brilliant!
Love, love, loved the outlaws…. Great that there is a 3rd series

Thank you DISH for thiss! ❤❤❤
Merchant, you look so good clean shaven! You should keep this look!
Best one yet
This sounds nice. Saving this one.
What a laugh!
Feel like Nick is trying to bring back Kippers. 2 podcasts in a row talking about them 😂
Deffo is a national treasure ye Olde Merchant!
lol, “I smell it in my curtains on a Wednesday “
I may have just binged on the outlaws. You forget how wonderful Christopher Walken is.
He seems so nice. A national treasure. 😊
Sounds like your dad needs to rethink hugs ways 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Get Karl on!
Yes, Karl Pilkongton would be a great get!
National Treasure Stephen Merchant ❤
This is my no. 1 ....excellent!
Hello from Croatia! ❤
Love this podcast
The parsnip bit ended a high on an even higher note 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looking forward to series three of the outlaws.
National Treasure, he is indeed eh 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤❤❤❤Mr Merchant
Can someone tell me why Kippers are popular in the UK? As an American I am intrigued but also have no idea where to even try them in the states
They aren't in the UK really, not in the South West I don't think!
you can still find them in the US. wiki details their popularity
Look for "herring". That's likely why
Try a quality bagel shop, some have various smoked fish. Maybe not exactly kippers, but tasty enough
That was brilliant! Thank you!
Loved this, great job all 😂
This is fabulous!!! My favorite person!!! 😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
Im so late to this series but loving it ❤
Did Angela say "Unami" instead of "Umami" when talking about the smoked mackerel? 🤔
I’m not gonna check, but we both know what she meant don’t we? 😽

Love this Dish!
Great to see a little bottle of Bijou being shared!
Yank i always think that every now and again u catch a glimpse in Stephen Merchants eye of chaotic revelry that i bind wonderfully unhinged 😂
4 minutes in and I'm dying! Who know he had dined and dashed! Dying!
Need to get Ricky on this for his sophisticated pallet
What an excellent guest

Stephen Merchant National Treasure! 🫡
Did Merch get the oyster tsunami whilst filming Travel Man in Dubrovnik (with other National Treasure Richard Ayoade)?
Yees, shout out to Massive Attack and Banksy. Didn't know that Stephen was a Bristolian too!
i love this man
The video starts at 1:30 if anyone is wondering
This was brilliant
Seared? Ever bake a fish in aluminum ? The pronunciation is not lost on me ha.. cheeky

28K views, I am responsible for at least 1/3 of that
Love the doctor story
Great story but I usually take these stories with a pinch of salt. A lot of embellishment
That was refreshing 😅
Is it me or does she have Ricky's laugh?!
Loved every video 🥰
Of course he’s come for a free meal. He was gutted he couldn’t get £20 off buying a PlayStation 2 and Grand Theft Auto 3
