- With changing climate and record rain this summer i have record big weeds at my farm this summer. They are slapping my bare legs when i ride and getting bees on my legs.This modded lawn tractor deck that is vertical will fix my problem.
Damn.....Many yrs ago .....I wanted to make the trip over the River...and party with you folks.....but now disabled retired......knew knees rods and screws in my back.....f,Ed up shoulders and ankles.......but I really enjoy that antics and the teaching vids you post

I used a sickle bar mower on the trails on my 44 acres years ago. That looks like you will be able to move much faster, making quick work on clearing the overgrowth. I had to go slow with the sickle bar...... I look forward to seeing it in action. Glad you're still posting videos. I started watching your videos maybe as far back as 2006......

I wish I could be there to observe directly and participate. As much as I enjoy the occasional dash of craziness, I never did have the mental energy for partying, so the current Dave’s farm experience would probably be even better suited to me. But alas, I’m stuck out here in Nova Scotia where grossly overpriced nothingness and a severely broken medical system reign supreme.
Why not mount it to the tractor bucket?

Gotta 1.6 vw diesel question. Is there a way to rig the advanced level to stay advanced? I know as soon as the throttle is pressed it shuts off. On the forums discussing running Waste Motor Oil, they mention advancing the timing to reduce the smoke that wmo causes. Someone said the vw ip manual advance can be modified to stay on, but didn't say how.

Dude stay away from spinning lawnmower blades. I cut the shit out of my left hand fingers when a running lawnmower fell off a couple blocks and landed on my hand. I mean there's a picture of a hand with a blade removing fingers saying DON'T DO THAT and I do it of course. Won't do it again tho and the surgeon sewed my fingers back together so good that now the wounds are barely noticeable except for some slight numbness due to the nerve damage.
Made the mistake of moving to Lucan in 2020 to escape the city covid BS. Wow, couldnt even get a pizza delivered there and the
local "roadhouse bar" closed at 6pm along with every other business in town. The residents weren't very friendly either unless they were also transplants from big cities. I left fall 2023 and so glad to be gone! I drove past your farm all the time, I did most shopping in Exeter as Lucan was way overpriced and I didnt like north London either.
