    Kendrick has become the embodiment of that KRS-One line
    "I represent Peace and Knowledge, but I WILL CONTRADICT THAT!"
    ("Drop it Heavy" for those that don't know)

    I think the sneakers also represent the old saying "if the shoe fits." Because a lot of people are getting offended by what are actually general statements about the industry. I also think the lack of title on this alludes to the fact that THIS is supposed to be 'The Heart Part 6'

    How is it a guy from the UK can grasp the broader scope of this track than our so called home grown rap enthusiast and “experts”? They ran and dubbed this as just another “Drake diss” which lead me to believe that most of these influencers/content creators aren’t Kendrick’s target audience but are actually like the ppl he describes in this track. They fed off the pettiness and want the beef to keep going, possibly to keep their views up. It’s so much deeper to those of us who have seen the rap industry get bastardized and completely turn into a cesspool of degeneracy. Gone are the days of rap lyricist who were like gh£tto poets to the culture. The track is a call to action for others who want to change the state of where rap and its artist are today

    The "party" is the ego and its worldly attachments, allures, temptations, and outright lies - in order for the soul to live, the ego must die. Dot is rolling his sleeves up and doing the work.

    also, people are responding to everything kendrick does as if their fav rapper, who moves nothing like k dot does, is doing these things. kendrick is not a clout chaser, he is not going to drop an album to keep this wave of "momentum" up. yall have yall minds set and used to how these other rappers, notably drake, moves. k dot moves by his own drum and can give 2 fcks about that cloud chasing attention seeking maneuvering that most other rappers follow. dot dont even like attention lmao hes soon going to go into his shell for a long while and ill be glad when he does because we do not deserve him.

      lol, yes and no, he can facilitate change but ultimately everyone is responsible to save themselves, don’t look for someone, especially a famous person to save you.

    • @kismkasm3178
      @kismkasm3178 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes - his whole journey defines this duality he contends with. He had a savior complex due to the pressures of his environment (and survivors guilt) - but he made effort to work it out in therapy.

  • @dominicharris5489
    @dominicharris5489 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    why is everyone getting this song so wrong lmao. he is simply talking about the industry and all the baffonery in it thart he speaks of in this song. the party is all the bullshit going on in the industry and has nothing to do with his beef with Drake. to him, that is dead and gone he is not touching on that anymore. its a much bigger picture he is addressing in this song and everyone is showing their low iq by not understanding that.

    • @DryJacket
      @DryJacket 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No disrespect to this channel, but is it disheartening to see commentators acknowledge Kendrick's overt message that the Drake beef is over and now there are more important things to talk about, only to immediately discard it and analyze that same song/message... with respect to the Drake beef. Lamar has a huge uphill battle ahead of him. The average fan - and pretty much every youtube commentator - is going to cling to the party's corpse rather than listen to what he's trying to say now.
