They ran and dubbed this as just another “Drake diss” which lead me to believe that most of these influencers/content creators aren’t Kendrick’s target audience but are actually like the ppl he describes in this track. They fed off the pettiness and want the beef to keep going, possibly to keep their views up. It’s so much deeper to those of us who have seen the rap industry get bastardized and completely turn into a cesspool of degeneracy. Gone are the days of rap lyricist who were like gh£tto poets to the culture. The track is a call to action for others who want to change the state of where rap and its artist are today
