Finally a scope I really look forward to buying. I give you credit for stepping up your game. Hopefully the Nexus Gen 2 is an improvement over the Gen 1 Nexus especially the glass.
Sure hope not!!! The Nexus 5-20x50 I checked out had noticeable chromatic aberration at 20x while compared to my Midas Tac 6-24x50 and Ares BTR Gen 2 4.5-27x50 were clearer at 20x magnification. I would hope they use better quality glass than the Gen 1 Nexus TBH.
@@commonsense5709 I completelyyyy agree with you. I hated the Nexus!!! I thought the CA was as bad as the early Arken models. I also loved my Midas Tac, I have since sold it and upgraded to the Cronus....both of which deserve more praise. Athlon makes some stellar scopes for the money
@@KevinWood44 Finally another honest tell it like it is kind of guy without sugar coating anything!!! Hopefully their new Gen 2 Nexus uses wayyyy better glass than what they use in their Gen 1 Nexus. Dang the new tool free everything and second rotation indicator in the Theos and Nexus Gen 2 really gets me interested but the Nexus 2 is $500 more than the new Tract Toric ELR 4-25x50. I recently ordered another Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2 to try out a different reticle and awaiting delivery and previously bought 2 more Midas Tac 6-24x50s couple weeks ago at a fantastic deal price for both I just couldn't pass up. I actually prefer lighter weight scopes TBH. Don't know of you bought a Tract Toric ELR yet but they're very similar to the Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2 and the Athlon is lighter. Glass quality between them are very close with a very slight edge going to the Tract Toric ELR according to my own eyes. Sure looks like the Theos is the same color as the Tract Torics.
It looks like a very nice scope but I was watching a film from Shot Show 2023 and saw that the price is goin to be about $3,000. I don't know about anybody else but that's a lot of money for a scope and I'm curious as to your projected sales. Putting out quality products but there has to be a market for them.
I will be most certainly buying one next time I see then on sale for under $2000 again. None of their other lines of scopes wowed me TBH compared to my Athlons but I'm wanting to compare the Theos to the black Vortex Razor Gen 3 6-36x56 that's selling for $2449 regular price and similarly priced Sightron SVIII 5-40x56. The relatively light weight and tool less zero stop on the Theos really interests me the most. . hopefully it's going to be more reliable than the $2499 Zeiss LRP S3.

Why would they include rings? It's for PRS shooting, the shooters need to figure out the height they need to get. Most top end scope companies don't include rings
@@Rundu1987 Arken is over half the price of this scope. What if your scope rings are wrong? You got to find money for more rings. Unless they ask you when you order, never wanted a Arken so I've not looked.
If you plan on buying this Theos scope you certainly can afford to buy rings for it. At least Burris Signature XTR rings is what I'd personally recommend buying.

Awesome looking scope 👍
I hope you bring out a 4-24 option to sit between the 3-18 Titan and this, both budget and feature wise.
Matt, that scope makes you look small! ;-) You guy's have designed a beautiful beast of a scope; it is very nice!
Does this scope use the same glass and coatings as the Nexus?

$2799 - Certainly not cheap, but you get what you pay for, it is a true tier one scope. They are selling even faster than we expected!

Great. Make a draw for the writings on the channel. I'm from Brazil 🇧🇷
Oh man I thought this video was about the helix 2-16×50 dam I can't afford one of those aaww 😢
I am sure it's going to be a expensive one because it's a high end scope and i feel atleast scope mount could have been included
Including a mount doesn’t really make sense, as you would need to choose a mount height for your particular rifle.
