Almost April 2024 and both of my SRs are running Klipper, one with a Sherpa Mini extruder it printed in CF PETG and a .6 Micro swiss high flow. It's the best workhorse out of over a dozen printers I've had on the farm. Its' brother runs PETG all day every day...

@@chrismay2298 wow cool combinations, i just did klipper and spoilt my SR bed😢. Didn’t know delta z-offset is different from Cartesian n bed slingers. Reluctant to go back Marlin. Sherpa good? Bought HGX-lite with nema14 ( might weight down the head ) .I have yet to install on SR as it’s z is not easy to set, looking thru several videos didn’t have detail on the Z-offset setup.

I know it's been 2 years, but I am considering getting one. I have a QQ-S, but it's not what it used to be. Time to upgrade to SR...
I have 9 other printers and I like the deltas because the print isn't moving during printing, so delicate parts print well.

possibly why cura didn't catch the printing limits is that it records the printable area as a cylinder but a delta printer's area is more of a cone. A decent way the built in cura profile could deal with this is to reduce the height by 50mm or so to better reflect this.

I have this printer, it's OK, phenomenal No but I'm not sure any 3d printer out there is. The advantage of this printer in one look is roller bearings over plastic rollers but that will be seen over time as not all bearing material is equal. Lubrication is a must and not well documented. Probably best to pull the WO horsey bit on the touch pad and bridle it back a bit for the the best results. They are on the correct course with slide bearings but for the low cost of 608 or similar type bearing I'm not sure what any of these manufactures are waiting for. An excellent 608 or better on a flat track. They are all still selling either defeat or high maintenance. In this hobby/trade to many have become accustomed to mods, they really need to start selling printers that work as well or better then a paper printers. They don't and they need to be that good for the price. A color laser for this price does much more and is quite accurate through it life expectancy. Just some thoughts. hp tech.

Just bought this printer. Assembled it. Ran 3 test prints flawlessly and beautifully I might add. However , after removing the sd card and working with Cura on the pc I sliced a small program to try and when I went back to the printer it no longer saw my sd card. Oddly while in the print menu showing everything blank as if it had no card , I pushed the sd card to eject it and it suddenly showed the card files. I pushed it back in and it allowed me to load a program but just froze forever. I tried a new sd card. Same exact issue. You could see the files but only if you ejected the card.
It also froze during another leveling attempt.
I’ve slated it for return today and I want to give this another try so I’ll get another whenever I get refunded.
Have you ever heard of this or had this issue ?
Also the USB port seemed dead. Never lit up any thumb drive lights nor saw anything on them. I tried multiple sd cards and thumb drives. Nothing.

@@FranklyReviewed wow thanks for responding!! If you see this, i think an interesting topic for a video series is tier listing all the printers you have used on a accuracy tier list, reliability tierlist, speed tierlist....(etc). Specially with christmas coming some people might want a 3D printer, and those tierlist might be very useful to them (and it's a pretty unexplored topic)

I'm sorry this is off topic but I don't know where else to go. My super racer nozzle scrapes the top of prints and at around 15 CMS it really rams into prints until it rips them off the print bed. It's not a layer adhesion issue because I can hear a sharp crack when it does this and I can't dislodge the prints unless I let the bed cool first.
I've increased the z hop to 2 mm, enabled / disabled combing, retraction and also set the extruder to 70 % at which point it is really under extruding, yet it consistently snaps prints. I can't get a response back from flsun. I'd really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting steps.

I’ve bought this one and two of the Sv03 based off of your recommendations but have nothing but issues with the SV03 and print quality issues right out the box with the FL Sun Racer as well. I’ve been printing for a while so it’s not my first rodeo but I think they pay extra attention during their QA process when they send it to a TH-camr with lots of subscribers, not your fault but everyone else is taking a gamble as you never know if you will get a lemon or a printer where you spend more time fixing it then printing with it. I love your content but recommendations are not always true for others if the same care is not taken for others by the manufacturer during their QA process.

I have to say that’s very odd. I do what I can to avoid those fluff printers, and I can see for a fact this one was delivered from an Amazon processing center. I also bought 5/6 of my own SV03s from various suppliers with all the same reliable results. I’m sorry you’ve had this issue with this printer tho, the other people I’ve seen with it have had nearly identical success with it as I have.

@@FranklyReviewed Not your fault and thank you sir. It’s just the name of the game for the lowere end printers, my CR10s printed amazing right off the bat and so did my Zortrax M200 and Affinity 2 but my solidoodle 3, SV03’s and FL Sr just didn’t print great from the get go but I’m just replacing what I can to make it useable.
