I didn’t watch the show often, but one of my favorites, that I haven’t been able to find, took place during a staff meeting, Dave was talking about sending Mathew to the zoo for something and everyone was laughing and Phil’s character says something about Mathew running into trouble, as I recall with a Lama, the last time he was there. Phil pulls out his phone and says something like “I saved it as my ringtone,” and hit a button on his phone and you hear Mathew’s voice and he suddenly scream “AHHHH! GET IT OFF OF ME,” because it bit his ear. Of course then everyone starts calling Phil’s phone and putting their phones on speaker so we hear it several times. 🤣

I watched these as they aired. Andy Dick made comedy gold with his performance in this show. I forgive all his Pee Wee Herman type behaviors off set and after the show ended.
When I was a kid he was my favourite character. I remember him catching scissors.

Andy Dick was great on this show. He was very outgoing but also able to have discretion in the character he played in this show. He was young back then. I get the vibe that he feels like that he has this "been there, done that" type of attitude when it comes to his work in show biz. Maybe deep down he knew he didn't want to live up to his greatest achievements that he had in his early years. He is chaotic, without chaos he would feel lonely.

The best Matthew moments were in the episode where they all slept from the heat wave. He would mimic various horror icons in Beth's daydreams.
What about when he was fired and was hunting them from across the street?
I won't be surprised if he was intoxicated while a take.

Why are all the top 10 Mathew moments from the same few episodes of the beginning of the 2nd season?
I would’ve thought there’d be 10 parts from 10 episodes... and even if they’re all different, it’d be odd and unlikely to have them from 10 episodes in a row, but rather from across all the readily available seasons.
First couple seasons were fresh comedy. They had to work a little harder after that.
There were only 5 seasons.

Wow this is not nearly as interesting as I thought, the rv stuff was funnier imo in a tragic sense because of how much was lost through alcoholism.
