    Again, a non-dairy creamer is not supposed to flavor the coffee. It is supposed to mimic Half + Half. You get all points though for the cuteness of this video.

      true! The only one of these creamers that had a slight flavor is the nutpods because it was vanilla but it is more like an echo of a flavor than true flavor.

    "Isn't it every woman's dream to have a handsome man bring them 4 cups of coffee?" hahaha Yes. But just one is nice too. 😄 This was very interesting! I use the native forest coconut cream you used, but I like nutpods too. Your daughter is cute! I have a three year old daughter and two boys. 😊

      Haha,right?? My favorite is being brought coffee in bed, that is the life. Which do you prefer? I was surprised at how creamy the coconut cream was but I think it is just because it has been a long time since I used that. Yeah my daughter really wants her own TH-cam channel, haha, it is adorable.

      I like my coffee really rich and creamy, so I prefer the coconut cream. 😊. But I like the flavor of the Hazelnut and French vanilla nutpods.

    Such a cute idea! Even though the nutpod is your favorite, how similar is it to having milk in your coffee?

    • @TheWholePointe
      @TheWholePointe  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd have to say it is not super similar, unfortunately. It has been a year since I've had real milk in my coffee so my memory may be a bit fuzzy, but I used to take heavy whipping cream and no dairy alternative has come close to that. I realized I was sensitive to dairy after my first Whole 30 and was super sad! When I am not on the Whole 30 the Califia Farms vanilla creamer makes me very happy with my coffee, though.

    Did you say Fry's? There's a blast from the past for me. We had one walking distance when we lived in Tucson.

    I'm trying to go plant based. The only dairy that I use is in my coffee. I just tried the Califia Betterhalf and I thought it was thin and did not care at all for the taste.

    • @TheWholePointe
      @TheWholePointe  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      7llazaren I understand, when I first switched nothing compared to my cream. And still, milk tastes different then any coconut or almond etc alternative. You could try nutpods but it is still thinner than cream, that is usually why I add coconut oil to give it a creamy texture. If you are not on a whole and like sweeter coffee I would suggest trying some of califia's new creamers. They have a dulce de leche,Mexican chocolate and Irish cream that are actually very sweet. At the point that I filmed this I probably hadn't had cream in my coffee for at least a year but I remember a stark contrast when I first switched.

    What a great video. So glad I found your channel. Just gave up sugar in my coffee. And want to try the Nutpods. Thanks so much for doing this video. Robyn

    I'm allergic to coconut ugh so frustrating...but those are beautiful cups

    • @TheWholePointe
      @TheWholePointe  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no! That is too frustrating, I used to use Silk Chocolate Almond Milk in my but that's not Whole 30 compliant and it isn't quite as creamy. Have you found any nut creamers that you like? I've heard of making one with cashews.

      Silk and Natural Bliss make almond creamers. The only problem is, they're full of sugar.
      You can also make your own with cashews and alternative sweeteners.
      Maple syrup, agave...I use liquid stevia and vanilla.

      I promise that I couldn't see through it but even if I had all I would've seen was what the cup looked like and still not which creamer had been used since he made them in a different room. It was a fun experiment! Now there are many more creamers on the market, will have to do it again sometime!

    Trader Joes soy creamer for coffee wins hands down across the country. There is now a shortage of soy beans because farmers crops are rotting in the fields due to tarriffs. I can not drink coffee or tea without it. Future is uncertain for this product. I am not happy.
