Some Gave All: Remembering D Day and the Bedford Boys

Thank you to Ken and Linda Parker from the Bedford Boys Tribute Center who spoke to participants, residents, and teammates at Trinity Living Center and Trinity Oaks.
Like so many Americans, the young men of Bedford, Virginia (population 3,200) were called up to serve their country in World War II. They landed on Normandy’s Omaha Beach on D-Day - and 20 lost their lives that day. Bedford had the highest per capita loss of any town in the United States.
