As probably is more often common than many people realize, I too am related to Rachel by way of a marriage between my Great grandfather Col. Edward Dillon and Francis Ann Polk in 1866, the Daughter of Lucius Junius Polk who married Mary Ann Eastin in the White House in 1832. . She was the grand niece of Rachel Jackson.
