Thanks again for your selections. Death in Venice, Mansfield Park, and A Month in the Country were all bought with the intention of reading immediately, but all have been on my shelf for years now! Will try and get them read (this year, at least). Summer in a novel makes me think of The Great Gatsby and the hotel scene: 'hot! hot! hot!' But in particular this line, which is for some reason engraved on my mind, and not far away now: “In two weeks it’ll be the longest day in the year.” ... “Do you always watch for the longest day of the year and then miss it? I always watch for the longest day in the year and then miss it.”

I've never actually read the Great Gatsby 🙈, but sounds like a great summer book!

Wonderful idea for a video. I enjoy reading seasonally, and your recommendations sound delightful.
I confess I’ve never read Jane Austen, but I’m planning to read her 6 major novels this year-what reading order do you recommend?
