  • In this video, I walk along Taphul Road pointing out all of the great food and drink options along the way. This street has an amazing array of eateries and that’s why we come here on average about six nights a week. The choices in this single street are staggering. There are also three of Siem Reap’s biggest hitters in terms of local food:
    - Try Me Restaurant: goo.gl/maps/GMDMCGJzUgrkehKE8
    - Madam Moch Khmer Restaurant: goo.gl/maps/oYG1poLRgvhCCm7g6
    - My Little Cafe: goo.gl/maps/JgDpH7EQ6nbZt7pE7
All of these serve a great mix of Khmer and western food. You can also get juices, smoothies, 75 cent draft beers, cocktails - really anything that is available on Pub Street is available here, usually it’s better quality and for a lower price. Don’t miss out on this amazing food street when you visit Siem Reap.

Wow! Siem Reap is really gentrified! International cuisine! Boutique coffee shops everywhere! It's been 20-years or more since I was last there. Ate many meals at the bus station in town. A few Khmer coffee joints. I recall one French restaurant. Somewhere. Found a good eatery on the edge of town with a crocodile farm attached.

I used to stay in Taphual Rd pre-pandemic (on the side that you didn't explore - still dirt rd). It is so central to everthing. Excellent location but a bit more budget. There was a restaurant that I used to frequent in T Road (again pre-pandemic) called Blue or Gold Pumpkin (can't remember now) that I loved. I will try some of these new restaurants when I'm there in April. Thanks for the tour.

I stayed 2 months with my partner. Of course I paid to go see the temples. That was 100 usd per person per day plus hiring a ride and a tour guide.
