He used to visit the bar that I worked at and we would chat as I worked. I didn't believe him...until I looked up his name and there he was! Such a wonderfully funny guy. He passed away 3 years ago...RIP Frank DeAllie

I can't believe I missed your reaction a year ago to this legendary group. When I was a teenager, I didn't care about disco at all, until I heard Hot Chocolate. I saw them live in L.A. and they were phenomenal! Errols' voice was magical and he moved around the stage like he was floating. He was the definition of smooth. They had 2 gorgeous back up singers and it felt like experiencing something other worldly. At one point, the bassist was singing and Errol gestured to 4 young ladies who came right up on stage and all 5 danced arm in arm like one unit. No way was it rehearsed. There I was, a native kid with hair down to my A-hole dancing with my girl and having a blast. I hadn't thought about that show for so many years, thank you for the trip down memory lane.
