Yellow = enemy is hunting or investigating a noise they heard while red = active combat, they’ve seen you they are engaging and shooting back and they are alerting friends around to your location. If you kill too many in the hunting state or trigger combat they will send someone to trigger the alarm as well. On medium difficulty you can totally shoot your way out of combat and murder everyone including the reinforcements, with the SMG + traps. Trapping bodies is effective since enemies in combat tend to come in waves of 2-5 guys leading to wiping out groups and possibly leaving other injured. You can even place teller mines to trigger only with high weight or multiple enemies are over it. Too much combat will lead to enemies being more alert for you even after going back to a white state for pretty much the rest of that mission. I haven’t tested it much but I believe being less lethal will prevent enemies from becoming too alert but you really need to memorize layouts, hiding spots, attract enemies with bottles and get good at hiding them for this to be effective.
Great video! I’ve just played SE4. I’ve done 4 or 5 missions. It has some of the best NPCs I’ve ever seen, they’re smart and incredibly hard to spot. The retreats and flanks suprised me. The enemies are so awesome. Usually AI breaks immersion but it hasn’t happened once. Very impressive. I have very high expectations. Thanks for the tips!
Amazing video. You couldn’t of picked a better place to start off teaching a newbie on job. I just started playing this game and that exact place is where I’ve got my ass handed to me probably six times now before I decided to search for a video to get some guidance and yours was the first one to pop up and I’m glad. You point out a lot of helpful tips on how to utilize the tools you have. Thank you very much. 👍🏼
I started playing SE5 yesterday and I applaud you to show the first level of the campaign. I did get my feet wet by trying stuff out on my own but SE5 is very different from other FPS/TPS I've played in my gaming history. It is kinda frustrating but once you understood that sound is king and how the game mechanics work I'm getting slowly into the groove. 😎🤘
Loved this game I completed it with my mate and we did all collectables on every missions, it's a really good game kinda wish there was more missions cause these only 9 proper missions with collectables if you include the DLC mission then the 9th mission you just kill one guy which was kinda easy.
Great Video! New subscription added. Has anyone ever told you that you sound similar to "Alfie Solomons" from the show "Peaky Blinders"? LOL. It's great. Just wonderin'... 😎🤪😁
Played 3 and 4 on PC have this for PS4! Cannot do it, no idea how people use those sticks to control aim compared to mouse and keyboard. I can get reticule/cursor on enemies even when they're moving quickly on PC, on PS4 can barley do it when they're standing still!!!!
I’ve been playing this and 4 kinda haphazardly just taking everybody out, and I usually come out alive or relatively unscathed… but I am left with a feeling that I’m playing the game wrong… I liked your video
What makes me not want to shoot the Nazis is the fact.that you get a bit of backstory when marking, like the sniper from the beginn's dog had just had puppies and he was going to take leavd to visit them
Anyone reading this can I ask a question how the heck do I get automatic aim I still haven't got it would know how to get automatic game what does it not happened to get so far into the game
Axis Invasion is automatically turned on and when you set the game up for the first time it makes you edit your settings and eventually it will say "Axis Invasion." "Allow Axis Invasion players to join your game." Then it will say On, Invite only, Friends. Most players probably skipped over it or thought the game was just adding an AI sniper to make it harder. Whatever you do remain as quiet as possible and use concealment. Don't use the phone too much and use focus as it will radiate around the mini-map telling you where and how close the sniper is. If it's completely flashing in a circle the sniper is very close to you. Be wary of scope glint and don't camp. Ignore the main objectives because the sniper's mission to kill you. Avoid alerting soldiers as they can triangulate your position to not only other enemies but the enemy sniper. Don't fire your weapon unless you're aimed at the enemy sniper or you are being shot at. Relocate after every shot to be harder to detect.
Can anyone explain the campaign loadout names. I.e Alpha, Charlie, Delta. I know these are Army Squad names but how does it tie in with game? Are they different levels of difficulty? I'm currently on mission 5 but only noticed them now
I used a trainer and killed all enemies on some missions and got some 150+ kills. I use that to reconnoiter the mission area. But stealth would be the better approach! Also more fun without the trainer, I think.
I’m playing it on authentic mode and is taking me a few hours per mission. Am I cr*p or is that somewhat average, using stealth as much as possible ? Thanks pal great video
A standard of how all guides should. An adults rund down on how it all works. Simple and informative. Well done sir

The is the best intro to Sniper Elite 5 I have seen. Well done sir!
Thanks for this comprehensive intro to this new version. A great refresher of this game play.
15:00 mark the glowing box when you picked up the guy can be used to hide 2 bodies in. approach and it will prompt you to hit a button to do so
Another tip that I have seen done is to hit a soldier with a bottle and it will knock him out.
I downloaded this yesterday so this video comes at a perfect time!

My friend introduced me to this and he likes to play all his games on the hardest difficulty. This helps a lot on getting a hang of the game
I really hope that axis mode is optional and not forced on players simply just wanting to play the campaign peacefully
It absolutely is.
excellent review mate , game coming today , thanks
Explaining the clouds was really helpful 👍
Well made & informative, thanks man 🤟
Big thanks, just started this game getting killed all the time. Now I have a fighting chance brilliant.
Thanks!
Fantastic video! Thanks so much. Ive just started the game and this is exactly what I needed...
Glad it helped!
Thanks man! I just got the game yesterday helped me out a lot.

Such a fun game must have just bought it over weekend
Just got this off game pass. Helped me out loads. Nice 1 sud n a like 👍
I have tried to figure out how to access the weapons load out screen for hours and finally have given up and went back to call of duty.
Great video!!
I love the sniper elite games
Yeah me too
What are the yellow dots on the map.
Just start playing the game and you are a big help.
Greetings from Holland
Peter
If you take your marker and place it over the yellow dots on the map, it will give you some information about what you shall do or find in that area.

Try turning up the difficulty.

It does humanize the character you just blew the head off of
It’s a great game but it’s hard to go stealth it’s very tricky most of time I get caught
Great video i would love to see you make a controller settings video
25 things I wish I knew before dieing 25 times 😃😃😃 Great tutorial
This is so much harder than 4. Can't shoot anybody with a sniper without giving the entire world knowing where I'm at
Its a great game. Under rated
Anyone reading this can I ask a question how the heck do I get automatic aim I still haven't got it would know how to get automatic game what does it not happened to get so far into the game
Just bought this classic and I'm bit confused during the first mission why online players are shooting me while I'm in story mode
You have the player invasion on

As far as I know, it's just a way of numbering / naming them. It could be A, B, C or 1, 2, 3, or I, II, III.
Thank you sir!!👍🙄

Trainer?
@@steec6713 pc version. So, a cheat will be helpful - less fun though!
Thank you for you video..
But how do.you get the sniper.scope? Am i missing something?
Terry Osman -What - you mean apart from a brain...?
Brilliant game ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I turn radar and hud off, I’d the axis jager off too?
yes
I’m playing it on authentic mode and is taking me a few hours per mission. Am I cr*p or is that somewhat average, using stealth as much as possible ? Thanks pal great video
l3yfajamz - I'd say you're cr*p...
It is not a race. Play the way you want to
I don't have internet,do u need it to just play campaign?
No you don’t you can play the campaign and survival solo without wifi
You can also use bottles to throw at the enemy and knock them out.
Really? I never tried that! Great info!
can you toggle aim?
yes
You sound like tom hardy mate !
All you have to do is start the game to know all this stuff
Thank you Captain Obvious
Authentic is the only way to play
Having fun is the only to play
No, aiming 3 miles away to hit a guy 200 metres in front of you is not very fun
Last mission was a total sh*t show lol
Bb😊😊😊 on bh😅n
