- So I went to CSSSA the summer of 2022
Don't really want to call this a VLOG even though I refer to it as such in the video cus I feel like this video log wasn't really for entertainment purposes but more so just for myself to look back on because I freakishly forget a lot of my life experiences when I don't document it LOL.
I am in the animation department in case it wasn't clear; my experience does not speak universally for all departments ofc so please keep that in mind =)
Also there are 3 field trips I just didn't go to Dear Yucky Hansen

Also, I applied for this year and I was wondering how you find out if you get accepted or declined. Is it a physical letter?
They send out an email first, but I do believe you also receive some physical mail. Good luck!

Quick question, how do the dorms work? Do you get to choose your dorm mates, like friends?
If you know your friend's full name and they are the same age as you, you can request to dorm together if you both get into the program. CSSSA admins will send out a "Dorm form" to best match students with other students. When it's sent out, both you and your friend must enter eachother's information for a chance to dorm together. Wow I loved ur vlog! I can’t believe they offered a Disneyland field trip? Could u tell me how much it cost? I know field trips are extra.
Sorry for the late response! The Disneyland field trip costed $190, which covered transportation, admission to the Disneyland Park & Disney’s California Adventure Park (1-Day Hopper Ticket), a $25 meal voucher, & chaperones. Hope this helps!

How much money is it to get in to csssa
$4,600 for california residents, and about 8k for outside residents. You can apply for financial aid. I got accepted in the 2024 program and got a full scholarship so now I do not have to pay anything.
Hi I just wanted to ask if you knew any international students and how much the program cost for them, bc I’m thinking of applying but I haven’t seen any int students talk abt how they did it. Thank you even if you can’t answer my question
So this year CSSSA was only open to California residents due to COVID, I think they used to take international students (don’t quote me on that). I’d say just check the CSSSA website for more information when application season comes. As for tuition, It was ~$4k this year but I’ve heard that previous years was much less expensive (maybe $2k?). CSSSA is very good with scholarships and paying for you if that’s any problem, so Id say don’t worry about money if it’s a main concern!
