On cargurus prices are finally softening (some f150s dropped by $6k in thr past 2 months) I agree it's not a crash but the start of some good news for once
People are complaining about the prices of trucks, but ironically one of the reasons the prices increased is due to the increasing demand of trucks, mainly by people that have little to no need for a truck. If it weren't for that, there might be a lower MSRP on them, not by much though since dealers and manufacturers are a bunch of greedy fucks, which is the main reason they're so expensive.
And its even more worser badder as many trucks, like the F150 are built on old jigs with huge tax savings on manufacturing equipment devaluation so the profit margins on many of these truck lines is far higher than cars........
Biggest problem is no one in the C Suites at the big 3 have ANY PASSION FOR CARS! They want to make money first! Everything suffers. It’s very sad as I live for cars.
I paid 29k in 2014 for a ram, 36k in 2018 for a Chevy, and 52k in 2023 for a Ford. These are all comparable new trucks. The only thing that honestly got better was my actual highway fuel mileage. 14 ram got 19 mpg, 18 chevy got 21 mpg, and 23 Ford gets 23 mpg, but I think that the mpg us more a function of the manufacturer. Side note is my 14 hemi ram would tell me it was 21 or 22 mpg, but was actually only 19 when hand calculated. I've never had any other brand (ram) who lied so much on their mpg. My Cummins would tell me 23 or 24, but was actually only 17. This is criminal for a vehicle to be so far off...that's why they consider the rams mpg display to be a lie o meter.
Being in the car business for almost 25 years. I think it's absolutely ridiculous. What some of these dealerships are trying to charge for cars and trucks to ridiculous. I mean, I would never be able to afford a brand new truck.I'm not gonna spend eighty thousand dollars on a truck
It’s true I’ve got 2015 F-350 crew cab DRW for towing and working a round the homestead and it’s cheaper too fix them than too buy new every couple of years so they can stick it up there butt I refuse to pay the over inflated prices.
The dealers love to hear 'TH-camrs' say its "TANKING" since they hope it wil inspire the normal buyer to run right out and buy a new truck at a 10% discount. When the dealers drop prices to 40 or 50% off their over-inflated price, we'll all run out to get a new one. Let's face it, 20 or even 30% off the window sticker is no bargain at all.
I think k truck just became illegal in Georgia. My bosses neighbor had one that was street legal, and she got a letter in the mail saying I will no longer be allowed.
Dealers wanted to be greedy and are now paying for it. Buyers paying their prices emboldens the greed. The status and materialistic world has never been my thing. Ive been as practical as can be. A wife helped me get there. 😂 If I spent that kind of money, it would've been on real estate. The devils in dc roasting our ecinomy and country isnt helping things either.
And it’s the consumers fault. You all decided you couldn’t live without a new car so you paid 15,000 over msrp lol. Also your money is worth 20% + less
Exactly, if it weren't for their obsessive "need" to have a truck just because they want to look "cool" or whatever the case may be, there wouldnt be such an increased demand for them, which leads to increasing prices.
Theres no “crash” yet. We’ve been hearing this for 2 years.

And it’s even worse: now they’re all offering smaller engines with turbos added. Les reliability for more money. Disappointing
In Canada the average truck is $80-90k and nobody is buying an electric truck, what a stupid idea
😮😡😭
No crash of anything. Everything going UP !!!
Where do you live?
there is no crash kids. sorry to say. 15% off a vehicle that is up 50 percent is still obscene for the quality you get.
Crash being active, not crashes. It's happening slowly.
The auto industry price gouged all of us!
MAKE THEM CHEAPER. I mean like $25,000 for a V8 2 wheel drive 8 foot bed WORK TRUCK
In the market for a truck.. HD's are a much better value than ½ tons..
Exactly and hd’s are the same price as a 1/2 ton
I can`t afford a car, a truck, a house nor a condo. Nothing !!!

It’s not crashing it’s coming back to reality. People are sick and tired of getting ripped off for no other reason then pure greed.
Drove a brand new 2014 Tundra with TSS package off the lot 10 years ago for $32,000. I'm pretty sure that's the last truck I'm buying.

Companies know weekend dump run yuppies are driving the prices up, because they want one and will pay anything..

there are plenty of used work horses out there available.& their probably more reliable than the new ones are.2 can play the overpricing game.
Hey man, can you do a video for me of "cheap realiable sportcars with great gas mileage"
There is no crash
And let me guess, it's the worst time to buy a car ever.

I will never buy the mini van of pickup trucks, a crew cab tiny bed pickup.
Loves it
Its not a car's manufacturers fault for this insane prices - blame that dude from china who ate the f...ng bat 🦇
I think k truck just became illegal in Georgia. My bosses neighbor had one that was street legal, and she got a letter in the mail saying I will no longer be allowed.
GM just released they will be building a $8000 K pickup brand new should be interesting
If we just all stopped buying dumb things we would be fine, and these companies would be forced to go down in pricing. Simple right ?? haha I wish
California gas is coming to Colorado goodbye car lots.😮
