Rattlesnake venom takes about 45 minutes to an hour before a person starts feeling life threatening symptoms, depending on the level of physical activity involved. It's not going to kill a guy within 30 seconds, unless it's in a Hollywood script.

It was easier for them but harder for the town people ,alot of the ranchers only came to town to put their cattle on the train to be sold for beef to eat ,they had everything they needed right their on the land so harder not at all simpler times wish I was born 150 years ago alot less bullshit to deal with back then

Gosh I loved this show... What I would give to see another season or two.
Can you tell me why you liked it? I tried to watch it, but it just bummed me out. Everyone was a bad guy, no one was ever happy, every storyline was just ugly.
I'm also from Montana, and I don't like the ideas it put in people's heads about what it's like.

I really liked Dan Jenkins as a character and its a shame he was killed off. Danny Huston is a super underrated actor.

I started watching this about a month ago. I got to season 3 & said to myself "damn, someone new is still trying to take this mans ranch." I really wish they would just leave John alone he really doesn't bother anybody, he just wants to protect his ranch.

I have a just a couple top cowboy or western movies abd shows i watch. This one, lonesome dove, tombstone, the entirety of the good the bad and the ugly series and a couple others but this show for how modern it is still really embraces the traditional ranch and the attributes of loyalty to it. Excellent writting and excellent picture and excellent character development especially rip.
To Mr Jose Torres ; Sir, while I do have a grudging respect for the Westerns you've mentioned, the fact that you sir, have failed to mention at all., THE GREATEST WESTERN EVER MADE, seriously disappoints me. Not only is it an all-time classic, I defy you to ever find a film with 6 ----------yes, count'em, 6 Oscar Winners or Nominees, in the cast. No, not as cameos, but as full cast. And, given that the film has over 1200 cuts & jump cuts, & no other film made to date even comes close to that, I'm even MORE disappointed. --------1969 : we went to the moon ------350,000+ went to Yasgur's farm x 3 days -------followers of a life long felon who stood all of 5'5" murdered 7 in 2 nights here in LA--------concert goers watched 2 concert goers get murdered by Hells Angels at Altamont------" Easy Rider " exploded across the big screen --------4 Brits from Liverpool recorded their final album------among the top songs of '69 : " Sugar Sugar-------Hooray For Hazel-------Never Can Say Goodbye -----Born To Be Wild --------to name a few ------------AND, a director, known for being hard to work with, having been fired from his last film-------a man who's Westerns all have 2 themes running though them : The dying of the old west, & loyalty among men ; that guy , releases a masterpiece of American Cinema. A simple story about bad men in a changing world -------men who want to, but in the end, refuse to change ; where THE most critical dialogue said by the aging, alcohol riddled lead actor : " When you side with a man, you stay with him ! And if you can't do that, you're like some animal ! You're finished --------we're finished ! " THUS, the theme of this cinema classic so great, it's now part of The Smithsonian's list of the 100 greatest films of all-time. I really hope this series is a cautionary tale for developers. It wont go down like this but any good person would want that land preserved private or not. Its probably better off private property, and i love our public lands.
In Canada they lobby the government to do their bidding for them. All back stabbing weasels, the whole lot. Been there done that, lost the farm to prove it.

I love how sweet they’re with their horses 😊, walker does kissing sounds to get them to go faster instead of kicking and yelling “HI-YA”. And when the horses had to lay down Lloyd was rubbing its flank gently. I just love gentle manly men lol. My husband is a big man, first time I saw him nurse a kitten back to health I feel in love.
When he looks up and says, "That's Jupiter," I thought he was gonna follow it up with, "because you're stupider," . Sorry, Dad joke.
They took all the violence in the name of defending what is theirs. There is a reason this series is so successful, stop making cuts that ruin it.

That’s not going to happen. After what Jamie did after the last episode of Season 5 (part 1), I highly doubt John and the others will accept him back. There will be a situation where Jamie will probably end up killing Beth to protect his son, and then Ripp will probably avenge her and kill Jamie. And then John will lose the ranch.
It seems that Beth's anger toward Jamie is her own psychological feelings of inadequacy.

In my opinion he should’ve made a long term deal with the becks, event though they were ruthless; they seem like they weren’t interested in anything related to the ranch. Except for the removal of the casino
Bro, the Becks would’ve found a way to double cross and backstab the Duttons if they got involved. And besides, it’s already been established throughout Season 2, the Beck brothers are ruthless assholes who backstabbed and wronged other innocent people and their ranch businesses. They had to be stopped.
John was not the type of person to just let the Beck brothers get away with their actions towards his family and other innocent people. He’s not built like that. Working with the Beck brothers was not an option no matter how you see it or try to make it seem like it was a right choice to work with them.

I worked in the country. People that live in city's have no fucking idea. There's guys that can flip a fucking bull with there bear hands on those ranches. These guys have been dealing with 500 pound plus animals for 30 years plus. So strength is veeeerrrryy important. But yeah rips are real.
