see if you can talk some sense into him - ive tried 4 times so far and he is still ignoring me. I suspect its American internet interference or forest lag or something. A sauna would fit perfectly into the ascetic of what he isnt thinking about planning.
He mentioned that he and Tito wanted to build a sauna on the very first episode of Ringworm. Hope the time has come at last. Thanks for the video Ryan!
With all these little roofs sheding water off, it's time to build water collection system. You need a router for your finish work on your projects. Beekeeping is something you could do on your homestead. Omg you'd build a water tower if you collect water
I watch a lot of TH-cam, but I can honestly say that these videos are the only ones of this length or even close to. Yet somehow when the video comes to an end I'm always baffled that it's gone already. Thank you so much for sharing your epic experince!
I think you have built the perfect shower nice 22 rifle by the way standing in the shower with your rifle and doing a little shooting is my dream keep up the great videos
Hey Ryan, I got a little off grid thing in Alpena, Michigan, also. I use a small 3x5 solar thermal array made of pex and hot water is stored in an insulated water tank. It all runs off of solar power. For you I would believe it would mean no need for propane. Up to November, It works well to keep water warm enough to shower with. With I am a little extra insulation the following 4 months in Winter it keeps it above freezing. All the supplies you'll probably find at the Habitat for Humanity resale. Just food for thought. Keep up the great content, man. Really look forward to when you have a new video out.
Seals walls and floor which needs 24-48 cure... *2 min later* ... Uses area as workspace (I tested it, really!) and then leans/props/uses freshly sealed area to finish shower. I kid, it looks amazing. Your videos are so fun. Came for the ringworm, stayed for the wormy journey.
Oh my goodness Ryan that is sooooo pretty or handsome, whenever. Your shower is the best most solidly built sauna ever produced on a TH-cam channel. I also agree with Joel Adams a sauna would be the next build to make the ringworm almost complete. Stay safe God bless 🇨🇦✌️
I am really impressed with your knowledge of wood when it comes to chainsaw cutting and for that matter your expertise in handling chainsaws. You are such a natural, one can see it must run in your blood. You've must have done some chainsaw carving and if not, you could easily master that craft. Will we be seeing that in the future? The shower has become a beautiful creation.
Dude , you aint right ... On second thought you are probably right ,, and it be us that aint right . Live on dude live the dream , and thanks for letting us live it with you . Plinking is fun so plink on .
WOW! That shower build is extraordinary! Beautiful shelves, towel rack and bench! Look forward to the bug tutorial! Always enjoyable watching your craftsmanship.
How about some lighting in the shower, at my hunt camp i added a rubber hose to a 12 vdc dishwasher drain pump (yes, a lot of newer dishwashers use 12 vdc drain pumps, we use a car battery to run the shower) .The pump pulls the water right from the heated pan of water to the showerhead. We use the same drain pump setup at our kitchen to wash our dishes
That’s no joke. I contracted alpha-gal syndrome last summer from lone star ticks. Danner has been extra cautious this year. I’m now the epipen guy. Shower looks amazing. We are about to start milling and finishing inside! Best part of Saturday mornings!
This is awesome! We'll start sending your channel to our clients who recently bought land from us near the camping areas. This will surely give them nice ideas. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Just a thought, maybe like a small root cellar. Would make a good spot to store sealer!!! Maybe a few other items you don’t want to freeze and thaw so much!
I thought it was the only guy that's worked as a mechanic, oil field hand offshore, climbing trees for a living, arborist I guess. Truck driver and I even dabble such as yourself sewing.
Hi Ryan Your content inspired me to purchase a milling chainsaw and Granberg mill. Can't wait to attempt what you are incredibly successful at achieving. Please continue to share your journey. Infinitely interesting. Thanks
Frequently surfaces that get sealed and are likely to have moisture (garage floors, patios, decks, piers etc) have grit of some sort added to the surface during the sealing process. Might want to throw some water on the floor and see how slippery it is. If so, a second coat with sand or some grit product could be in order. God’s Blessing’s, Curly
Maybe I missed an explanation, but why place the LP tank where you have it? Why not on the ground on the outside, next to the burner? You’d gain some real estate in that corner and save yourself a potential hernia. Otherwise, loving the creative craftsmanship.
Longevity? The elements can really brutalize even fairly resilient things. All it would take would be a little moisture getting in the wrong place and freezing and that tank would be unusable
@@blackoak4978 I have 2, 100# tanks. They are probably 50 years old now. No problems with mine, although there is a metal hood that flips over and covers the valves of both tanks. I am aware campers at permanent sites that use a tank like that, unprotected, that have little problems.
When my kids are old enough and don't want me around 24/7 I will buy land and take refuge in the woods and build myself a outdoor shower. Love what u are doing and thanks for sharing it. Would love if u could put the name of the audio books in the description
Beautiful job! Love the concept of your shooting, shower, activities building! Enjoy Michigan’s outdoors! Your backwoods carpentry skills are amazing! Anxiously awaiting your next one! Thanks for sharing your videos!
living like this is only for a few.... but WOW... you have made it both.... entertaining and functional ...something tells me ....you build according to a snapshot in your mind ...keep it up....your teasing about the next build has my attention ...
Have been very much enjoying watching this entire series. I have a couple of 3D printers and am very interested to see what you build! You are full of surprises!
I've got a little shower head that's battery powered that I would hang a hook for and use to shower with out there. You just drop the pump end into your water and it has an on off switch so you can navy shower. :) Looks great dude!
Great vid - enjoyed hearing about your previous life / family / business / tools. Looking forward to watching future ones. Well done and thanks for the entertainment. Take care.
Fantastic shower Ryan! Your creativity and chain saw skills are on another level man! I enjoy your channel very much: never know what your going to build next👍 Wood-ticks in your area? Be very careful with them: lone star( lime disease! Not good if bite you👎 So make sure you keep that in check!! B Deacon Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦
Love your stuff, Mr. Worm. Been following you since the days of, "what the heck is this guy even doing?" Your an old pro now and can't say you don't know stuff! Love the progression of you property, Teto will have to let us see his stuff on film sometime too!?
Love the shower , could make a sweat box in there too…..something to put rocks in to heat them , and something to put them in to pour water on them for the nice stream ….
Keep the propane tank outside and drill out a hole for the gas line give you more room and easier to load and unload with the trailer. Just a thought. Also less chance to mark up that great looking floor.
I’m looking forward to your bug episode. The bugs in the great white North get pretty intense in the summer. We were pulling tics off of us and the dog for the past couple of days.
Nice building. Next build a sauna soumi/finland style. Heated by firewood double bottom to heat up water / water tank attached. Ore whatever. Humid sauna the steamy one I would recommend. Thanks for a nice TH-cam
I'm 65, today. When I grow up, I want to be just like you! LOL
Love wasting hours of my day watching you goof around in the woods
This is clasic Ringworm, standing in a shower to keep dry, got to love it.
Shower- shooting bench- shelter from the rain!
Livin' the dream! I am Envious of all but the Bugs.
My new favorite TH-cam channel!
Good morning Ryan, what about a sauna next? Might be nice in the cooler season. Have a great day!
Yes.
Especially with all that cedar he has

That is, without a doubt, the best looking shower/shooting shed I’ve ever seen. Nice work. 👍🇺🇸✌️
No snow! Dawns here ☀️in Ca! So scared every year the whole state is burning 🔥

We love all of your videos and creativity. Plus it's nice that you're not commercialized in trying to promote or push products on your viewers.
Propane camping shower would add a whole new level to summer showers.
I love your videos. Look forward to them each week. Thanks for keeping the shower video PG.
Hey, 50 min video, yeah.
I am really looking forward to your videos every week!
All the best!
The shower turned out beautiful. The bench wood is going to be gorgeous as well! Love watching you create!
I don't know why it's soooo satisfying just watching you rip a log along a chalk line. Guess I'm easily amused.

12v water pump and hose to an overhead shower head, other end can go into the pail/bucket/water source. Hook it up to the Jackery.
That's funny: "I think I'll combine a shower and a shooting range..." Thanks for your vids
Everything you build is …….Awesome! Every video makes my day ……..Thanks!
What a beautiful shower . It turned to Amazing . Storage , a place to sit your buns . You really outdone your imagination.
Good Morning everybody
Something old, something new...shower goodness 😄
I'd hang a bar for a shower curtain for complete privacy for when you have guests. Looks pretty good.

I love how you x the piece of the wood to be taken off as if you might some how forget! Lol
Cool design! Kind of reminds me of a stage or a bandshell.
.. for singing in the shower...in the rain..of course

Shower's looking good. I would have to say the best part of building a shower is taking the show after !!!
You are increasingly enjoyable to watch
