“Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!”
That’s a guy who’s been preparing for an LM podium his whole life.
did I just hear that driver scream during the crash?
Sounds like you can hear him again after the rollover.
"NOOOO!!!!”
I just heard it
Yep! I also heard
Yes. Yes you did.
Glad he is okay, that hit was big
It sure was
I thought the Aston gonna crash into the path of Hypercars as well.
It was a scream of Anguish and Anger, not fear or pain. He was on for a Top 3 finish
I feel like 99% of the time this is why racing drivers scream and cry. Not because they are afraid to die or be hurt, because they are afraid to let down their team and lose their shot at greatness.
@@DrivingGod21 they're fighting on the podium since Saturday, only to be out of race by drivers mistake of course he's angry
@@DrivingGod21it’s kinda crazy but I think that’s part of the problem with some series now - the threat of Injury is totally gone and drivers drive like they’re invincible
@@Severi611 I kind of see where you're coming from, but at the same time what you just said was "racing is not exciting anymore because people don't die" 😂
Honestly, I feel like it's just less tragic. The drivers take more risk, make crazier passes, and do things that they never would have done if they were fighting with their mortality.
Thats a scream of disspointment
Exactly my thoughts…
@@xtrekrex he knew instantly that he couldn't save it and he was going into that wall
was that a scream at 2:00 ? 😰
Hard to tell if it's tire squeal or the driver yelling "Nooooo!" 😂
it starts when the car go backwards. So i would assume it's something in the motor. Does it have a supercharger? My guess would be it's the supercharger whining. (just before the drivers whined himself ^^)
Big impact though. Glad the driver is ok.
@Mirai.Racing i never heard any driver making any noise while crashing. This doesn't sound like a person yelling imo.
I guess you're right when you say it's the differential. ;)
Good take !
He did screamed
He was saying nooooooooooooooo
Slip at the wrong time possible really unlucky there
Very lucky also all the same that it didnt collect every other 3 cars behind if there is no tyre walls.
oh wow.... you can really hear him scream ''NOOOOOO'' at 1:59, that gave me goosebumbs.
Certainly glad to have heard, driver ok. 👍
That was almost mirroring Simonsen.
Saw this on the onboard of the hypercar next to him. The hypercar seemed hesitant to go past the Aston on the straights and it resulted in them both going into this corner. Could have been avoided. No idea why the hypercar hesitated...
I appreciate Alex was making a presumption but just to be clear, the gravel trap had absolutely nothing to do with that car ending upside down. Tarmac runoffs are crap.
Clueless post
I can’t believe the onboard cam survived that!
Racing is so much safer than it used to be . Still dangerous , though .
That was unlucky just
Estaban acelerando de hecho
that they race different class of cars together
@@luismp8548well certainly is.
That’s gotta be so rough for him and his team! 😢 So glad he walked away from it though. Better luck next time guys!
Why didn’t we get this commentary during the Eurosport coverage? We had it for practice and quali
Wasn't the last GT car on its roof in the WEC also an Aston Martin? I'm thinking of the one at Monza 1 or 2 years ago that launched over the kerbs.
Yes the one that blow the doors off. 2 years ago i think
No, it's a Porsche
Shame doing well but the weather playing it's part. Aston Martin will be back next year guaranteed.
Wow
Poor guy. Here's a fair driver trying to move out of the way in order to make way for the faster cars. Gets caught in dump tarmac, something that is so unpredictable. I don't blame him for this crash but can totally understand his agony. If you're reading this, you have my sympathy and support. Don't knock yourself out, you've shown to be a great driver and we hope to see you back next year. Best of luck.
Here is a video where, despite my old and great passion for Motorsport and the 24 Heures du Mans, I will never be able to put a "Like". O_o Fortunately the pilot escaped without serious injuries. Long live the enormous progress in racing car safety!
**** me that title gave me PTSD of the last Aston incident, glad he's fine
wow...
Nice to see that some drivers act like gentlemen still. Sorry he ended up in that big shunt.
the last time this kind of accident i remember was Audi R-18 driven by Allan Mcnish.
OMG the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" from the driver
i can't believe it could happen
Never pays being too nice. I am very glad he is fine. Race car safety came a long long way since the early days.
The poor Aston was screaming in fear as it went over.... 2:00 unlucky shunt but good he walked away.
"stay in the car until marshalls come" Nikki Lauder says fu.k that 😮
Just go to show the danger the drivers face. Saw it at the track as was very lucky to walk away
The Aston Martin LMGT3 crashing almost mirroring Allan Simonsen 11 years ago... That was scary! Glad he is OK.... 😱
Hehehe.. he yells out before hitting.
Probably both in fear and anger
We're never getting Half Life 3
so much better coverage than the clowns on eurosport, although some of the people there were good, its just that one guy i didnt stand.
Anyone who survived that neverending ordeal at night could probably survive everything 🤣😂. That night was the longest & the toughest so far since I've been watching LM. Is that the longest ever that the safety car was on track?
4 hours of Safety car, I thought only F1 avoided running during the rain.
@@xuxon24Felt like forever. 😂
thank God
Glade the driver was ok. Loss of grip with lot power to rear axel . Looks like he try to brake and try get it back under controled. Lot of cars where have issues with cold tires in the wet and cold track .
That scream though!
I watched it live
Thanks for putting "driver ok" in the title!

Stroll?
Wrong moment in the wrong place. Unlucky.
"Stay in the car..." "Yes, but I'm upside down." Big (and backwards) hit but the seat did its job.
potential podium finish just gone...
Have a look?? Hyper was right up the inside, poor kid could do nothing else. Shame. Good to see drive walk away, side impacts not good at allll…
These hyoercars think they are invincible
crash at 1:30
Was silver..now bronze😬
Fuf, he was close to went out into "Oh, sh..."
You could hear the driver if you listen carefully. Commentator is a bit too loud
Not the commentators fault
whos that girl :D
either a pit worker or one of the lambo drivers, the young lad hath just crashed and thou carest about the female on camera shame on you young lad
@@celebritiesoncesaid8628 well it’s for our entertainment purposes
2:00 noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Was Stroll driving?
we hear him screaming, hot accident.
The car is expensive, but the scream is priceless 😅 1:59
Avoiding the Ferrari beside him who's being a little too pushy on a particularly dangerous corner... Awful coincidence that Ferrari is the cause of so many accidents this year. Almost as if they drive dangerously on purpose, but Ferrari certainly doesn't have a history of that at /s
Accident with BMW, Toyota and Aston Martin, all looking rather sus
Lance Stroll driving?
That sucks
Porsche team 👌👌👌
I'm going to say it again. Take a lesson from NASCAR.
The medics and fire fighters would have already been rushing to the accident even before the car stopped moving.
One of these days someone will die because it takes too long for the safety team to get there.
But what if one of the medical team gets hit by another car still moving at speed? It is putting even more lives in danger doing that
@@nathanb286 isn't the yellow flag / indicator lit immediately after someone wrecks? Tell me those racers are so hell bent on winning that they would put a fellow racer in danger?? Plus, if you watch the NASCAR safety team, they block the path with the truck so the safety people can do their job. Poor argument.
Someone having just wrecked a car, sitting there for minutes while the confused safety team run back and forth behind the wall trying to decide what to do.
Tout les ans ils écrasent une aston elle porte pas chance c est les pneus qui crient
Glad driver ok.maybe a microsleep hihi 😅.
That scream dude. That’s real fear
I think it’s more the anguish of knowing his race was over/anger at being punted. Didn’t have the shrill edge of raw fear.
no marshall rushed to help him?
Especially in the damp its too dangerous. Throw the Double Yellow and wait for a gap in traffic first
Race director tells them when they can go, they don't decide for themselves. In this case, imagine an another car loses it in a similar way on the damp surface.
novice driver
Stroll is ok
You wouldn't believe how many crazy people out there think the Ferrari caused that accident....
Its extremely hard to tell, he has the snap from the wet at pretty much the same time the Ferrari's nose goes in. Had to watch it a few times to convince myself there wasnt contact
@@dukedragon28 It's not hard to tell at all... he dropped it. All by himself.
You can even hear him screaming about it.
1:36 Off course the female driven Car has Rear Ended that Prototype, But Nobody talks abut it SMH
oh my bad didnt know augusto farfus darren leung and sean galeal transitioned, darren leung is the biggest surprise for me (sorry for yapping) but i also find it pretty disrespectful that the commentators still call them by their male names
Clueless
I can live without the yelling commentary. Ear-shattering.
rookie
You expected for it to end up on its roof… What a knob
