Holy sht, I had to scroll for 10 minutes to find something about cam bearings that was some kind of cam in block bs featuring a boomer with a hammer.

Whats the bearing test tester called?

Plastigage or plastic guage

Somehow i swap the bearings now i dont know what to do can i just torque and plastigage every cap and grind if i have to??? No marks on caps

@@jeremysmith-mp7nu do the caps have an even parting line. Look at the surface of the cap that connects to the rod. Most modern connecting rods are powder forged and then cracked. Those types have an uneven surface between the rod and the cap.

hmmm.. the camshaft being so long, its bend may upset that way of estimating clearances; i would never trust it there; for ONE rod bearing yes, just not there;
a micrometer and a bore gauge, even the cheap telescopic ones,would be my choice; BUT i mostly just use my eyes:
has it been living for a few years? still polished,no scratches? OK
